【摘要】：隨著信息的爆炸和全球化發(fā)展,傳記翻譯逐漸進入人們的視野。傳記主要由準確的事實論述和煽情的文字描寫組成,兼具文學(xué)和非文學(xué)的特點�？紤]到跨文化元素對目標語讀者的影響,在翻譯實踐中交際翻譯將會越來越有實用性。交際翻譯理論可以緩解英語和漢語之間的語言差異和文化差異,保證流暢自然的翻譯,不會對目標語言讀者造成任何認知障礙或誤解。 筆者在彼得·紐馬克提出的理論——交際翻譯理論指導(dǎo)下翻譯了《喬納森傳》的一部分,本文旨在分析該理論在翻譯實踐中的應(yīng)用。大體分為四個章節(jié),分別交代了項目背景交際翻譯、分析了傳記的典型特征、舉例分析了交際翻譯理論在翻譯實踐中的應(yīng)用,最后根據(jù)校對稿的反饋提出個人建議和切實可行的解決方案。 筆者希望本文能為后來者研究傳記翻譯提供參考。
