本文借助當(dāng)代翻譯研究學(xué)派重要學(xué)者安德烈·勒菲弗爾的制約翻譯與改寫理論，通過對中國古代文化典籍《詩經(jīng)》的兩個英譯本（理雅各譯本和許淵沖譯本）的比較研究，探討影響《詩經(jīng)》英譯的因素及表現(xiàn)形式�！对娊�(jīng)》是中國最早的詩歌總集，是華夏文化的源頭和中國古典詩歌的雛形，同時也是儒家經(jīng)典之一。其語言獨特，風(fēng)格樸實自然，形象地反映了中國古代政治狀況和民情風(fēng)俗，在中國文化中占據(jù)著相當(dāng)重要的地位，這也是《詩經(jīng)》備受關(guān)注的原因之一。在一百余年內(nèi)，僅英譯本數(shù)量便達(dá)到十余種，本文選取兩個不同時代（19世紀(jì)70年代、20世紀(jì)90年代）、不同國籍（英國、中國）、不同身份（傳教士、翻譯家）的譯者頗具代表性的譯本作為研究對象，從勒菲弗爾所提出的操作理論視角展開比較性研究，以期對世界詩經(jīng)學(xué)的發(fā)展貢獻(xiàn)一份心力。勒菲弗爾提出了意識形態(tài)、詩學(xué)及贊助人對譯者對文本和翻譯策略的選擇及譯作的出版等都會產(chǎn)生影響，并結(jié)合實例進(jìn)行了有力論證，稱翻譯即對原文的改寫。不同時代的社會歷史和文化語境可能千差萬別，因此，不同時代譯者的翻譯往往會為了迎合讀者的需要而受到主流意識形態(tài)和詩學(xué)的操縱。本文共有六章。第一章主要介紹論文的研究背景，目的，意義以及...
