作為著名學(xué)者錢鍾書的代表作之一,《圍城》出版后被翻譯成多種文字。20世紀70年代,《圍城》英譯本出現(xiàn)后受到了廣泛的贊譽。很多國外學(xué)者認為,她既遵從了原文又順應(yīng)了西方文化,隨即引發(fā)了國內(nèi)的"圍城熱"。但一些學(xué)者也認為,《圍城》英譯本沒能很好地反映出原作者特有的睿智與幽默,存在文化負載詞翻譯方面的諸多問題。本文基于文化負載詞翻譯的理論與方法,列舉并分析了《圍城》英譯本文化負載詞翻譯中的一些錯訛,嘗試提出了修改意見。
