【摘要】：本次翻譯任務(wù)為非裔美國女作家托尼·莫里森的新作《慈悲》。全書總共12章，約五萬多字。筆者翻譯的是小說第4至6章的內(nèi)容，約一萬八千字，主要以莉娜、弗洛倫斯以及女主人麗貝卡的口吻敘述事件經(jīng)過。第四章主要講述了女主人病后莉娜的擔(dān)憂；第五章講述了弗洛倫斯踏上尋找鐵匠的旅程；第六章講述了女主人麗貝卡病榻上的夢魘。翻譯報告共包括四個部分，第一部分主要對翻譯任務(wù)進行了描述，介紹了翻譯項目、翻譯文本以及所采用的翻譯理論；第二部分交代了翻譯過程，包括譯前準(zhǔn)備、翻譯過程中所遇到的難點、解決方法以及譯后審校；第三部分主要對翻譯實例進行分析，特別分析了長句、并列句的處理以及句法空缺的彌補；第四部分主要總結(jié)了此次翻譯實踐的心得體會以及譯者所應(yīng)具有的素質(zhì)，如扎實的雙語功底、良好的文學(xué)修養(yǎng)、正確的翻譯態(tài)度，，除此之外譯者還要具有團隊合作精神。
[Abstract]:This translation mission is the new work of African American writer Tony Morrison, Mercy. The book consists of 12 chapters, about fifty thousand words. The author translated the contents of chapters 4 to 6 of the novel, about 18000 words, mainly in the tone of Lena, Florence and hostess Rebecca. Chapter four deals with Lena's worries after the hostess's illness, the fifth chapter narrates Florence's journey to search for blacksmiths, and the sixth chapter tells the nightmares of her hostess Rebecca's bed. The translation report consists of four parts. The first part mainly describes the translation task, introduces the translation project, the translated text and the translation theory adopted; The second part describes the translation process, including pre-translation preparation, translation difficulties encountered in the translation process, solutions and post-translation revision; The third part mainly analyzes the examples of translation, especially the treatment of long sentences, the treatment of complex sentences and the remedy of syntactic gaps. The fourth part mainly summarizes the experience of the translation practice and the qualities the translator should have, such as solid bilingual skills, good literary accomplishment, correct translation attitude, in addition to the translator must have a team spirit.
