【摘要】：自譯是翻譯中的一種特殊而顯著現(xiàn)象，不論中外。但因其常以個(gè)例的形式出現(xiàn)，現(xiàn)有自譯理論常常是從個(gè)案研究的角度探尋這一現(xiàn)象，，沒有形成體系。而且，通常人們關(guān)注的是自譯現(xiàn)象中作者與譯者身份的重合，忽略了在整個(gè)翻譯過程中自譯者的多重身份。本文主要工作就是對(duì)張愛玲的自譯文本（英譯中）進(jìn)行分析，試圖找出其幾點(diǎn)特點(diǎn)。 文本分析主要分為兩部分。第二章重點(diǎn)分析張愛玲敘事風(fēng)格在自譯中的再現(xiàn)。作為讀者中心的作家兼譯者，張愛玲從創(chuàng)作之始就在敘事之結(jié)構(gòu)層面與溝通層面盡量做到遵循目標(biāo)讀者的習(xí)慣，自譯時(shí)則遵循中文讀者敘事習(xí)慣進(jìn)行大量整改。 第三章重點(diǎn)在于張愛玲對(duì)修辭手法等的創(chuàng)新自譯。張愛玲對(duì)修辭手法的運(yùn)用爐火純青，特別是隱喻與明喻。如何在自譯文本中再現(xiàn)比喻，張愛玲顯然下了功夫。再者就是四字格的運(yùn)用，文章標(biāo)題與人物姓名的翻譯，都各有特點(diǎn)。
