【摘要】：本文嘗試從尤金·奈達的功能對等角度,分析了吳勞和張愛玲譯海明威的作品《老人與�！�。作者從功能對等的四個方面對兩個中文版本進行解析,包括：讀者反應作為評價翻譯的新標準,信息功能作為最重要的語言功能,文化移植在翻譯中的重要作用,文體對等在功能對等理論中的重要作用。與此同時,功能對等理論也有它的不足之處,例如：它過于強調讀者的反應而忽略了原文的權威性,它認為功能對等優(yōu)于形式對等而忽視了形式對等的重要性�！独先伺c�！纷鳛楹Ｃ魍拇碜髌�,在世界文壇上有很大的影響,有很多的中國翻譯家將此翻譯成了中文版本。本文選取了吳勞和張愛玲的中文版本作為對比研究。本文作者認為《老人與�！肥且粋�很好的翻譯研究案例也是很有價值的文學研究文本。因奈達的功能對等理論在文學翻譯理論中具有很好的指導作用,故作者將其選為理論依據,對吳勞和張愛玲的兩個譯本進行文本分析。作者在功能對等理論的指導下,分別從詞,句和篇章角度分析兩個譯本是否能實現和原文的對等。詞匯層面包括對食物和魚的名稱的翻譯和有文化負載詞的翻譯,句子層面包括翻譯簡單句和修辭,篇章層面包括對話和心里活動描寫的翻譯,最后通過比較研究,得出結論為吳勞的翻譯更加貼近于原文。通過借鑒奈達的功能對等理論,為《老人與�！窛h譯本的研究提供了一個新的視角,同時也是通過實例分析,幫助我們對奈達的功能對等理論進行一定的實踐論證和理論反省。
