城市廣場(chǎng)舞:從傳播儀式到群體認(rèn)同

【摘要】:20世紀(jì)90年代以來,廣場(chǎng)舞在我國的城市鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)開始風(fēng)行,從改革開放前沿的南方嶄露頭角,繼而輻射到全國各大城市和鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)。我們不禁好奇,廣場(chǎng)舞現(xiàn)象為何得以在大江南北如此火熱,廣場(chǎng)舞如何產(chǎn)生這么大的凝聚力和認(rèn)同感,讓人們每天堅(jiān)持不懈、甚至霧霾天都出來跳舞?其背后的傳播機(jī)制為何,這種機(jī)制如何起作用,廣場(chǎng)舞群體是如何通過這種機(jī)制強(qiáng)化群體與個(gè)體成員的認(rèn)同的?近幾年,不少學(xué)者開始關(guān)注廣場(chǎng)舞現(xiàn)象,從民俗學(xué)、體育健身、政策規(guī)劃、中老年休閑,甚至社會(huì)學(xué)視角的探討都開始出現(xiàn),而截至目前,傳播學(xué)相關(guān)的研究更多著眼在其媒介形象的建構(gòu)等方面,少有深入群體研究其背后傳播機(jī)制、以質(zhì)化的研究方法進(jìn)入群體觀察其群體互動(dòng)的,更沒有從傳播儀式觀視角進(jìn)行研究的例子。本研究在對(duì)已有研究與媒體解讀的梳理之上,使用參與式觀察、無結(jié)構(gòu)訪談以及文獻(xiàn)分析的方法,以傳播儀式觀的視角切入,研究分析了城市廣場(chǎng)舞何以作為一種傳播儀式存在,以及其作為傳播儀式如何強(qiáng)化成員的群體認(rèn)同與自我認(rèn)同。在傳播儀式觀視角看來,廣場(chǎng)舞不是傳達(dá)信息、獲得資訊的功能性群體,而是“一種以團(tuán)體或共同的身份把人們吸引在一起的神圣儀式”。我們看待廣場(chǎng)舞,不再將其拆解為傳播者、傳播渠道、傳播受眾等因素,而是將其看作一種日常生活中的儀式,從這個(gè)角度來看,廣場(chǎng)舞活動(dòng)既是媒介也是訊息,其本身就充滿著符號(hào)化意義。廣場(chǎng)舞作為成員每日休閑與自我展示途徑,通過其傳播儀式的聚合功能聚集成員。廣場(chǎng)舞活動(dòng)的周期性、重復(fù)性、規(guī)則性與制度性是這種聚合的“強(qiáng)制性”保障;廣場(chǎng)舞隊(duì)的圈層互動(dòng)機(jī)制構(gòu)建了一個(gè)“有秩序、有意義、能夠用來支配和容納人類行為的文化世界”,將廣場(chǎng)舞的參與者卷入這一傳播儀式之中;廣場(chǎng)舞的表演性和展示性為參與者提供了自我呈現(xiàn)的舞臺(tái)。傳播儀式具有聚集、整合、價(jià)值觀世界觀強(qiáng)化、形成認(rèn)同的功能。從遠(yuǎn)古時(shí)代,人們就開始借助這種集體性的舞蹈、慶典、節(jié)日等儀式活動(dòng),來獲得對(duì)自我身份的確認(rèn)和群體認(rèn)同。通過情感邏輯下的群體互動(dòng),廣場(chǎng)舞將具有相同的認(rèn)同的人聚集起來,并在群體中完成群體身份確認(rèn)、群體目標(biāo)內(nèi)化、群體凝聚力形成的過程,達(dá)成了由“我”向“我們”的轉(zhuǎn)變。同時(shí),在群體中,通過對(duì)群體合法性的確認(rèn)完成自身世界觀的強(qiáng)化,通過個(gè)人意識(shí)與群體價(jià)值的互相認(rèn)可、共同價(jià)值觀的分享和確認(rèn),完成了群體認(rèn)同與群體價(jià)值的內(nèi)化。人們通過儀式抒發(fā)情感、表達(dá)自我、凝聚彼此、共享價(jià)值觀,儀式作為一種粘合劑和一種媒介,是“以團(tuán)體或共同身份把人民吸引到一起的神圣典禮”,在其中參與者強(qiáng)化了自我的價(jià)值觀與世界觀,也建立或重建了自我認(rèn)同與群體認(rèn)同
[Abstract]:Since the 1990s, square dance has become popular in the cities and towns of our country, emerging from the south of the frontier of reform and opening up, and then radiating to the major cities and towns of the whole country. We can not help wondering why the phenomenon of square dance in the north and south of the river so hot, square dance how to create such a great cohesion and identity, so that people persevere every day, even haze days out dancing? What is the communication mechanism behind it, how does this mechanism work, and how does the square dance group strengthen the identity of the group and individual members through this mechanism? In recent years, many scholars have begun to pay attention to the phenomenon of square dancing, from the folklore, sports fitness, policy planning, leisure, and even sociological perspective began to appear, and so far, Communication studies focus more on the construction of their media image, few of them go deep into the communication mechanism behind it, and use qualitative research methods to enter the group to observe the interaction of the group. There are no examples of the study from the perspective of communication ritual. Based on the existing research and media interpretation, this study uses the methods of participatory observation, unstructured interview and literature analysis to cut into the perspective of the concept of communication ceremony. This paper analyzes why the city square dance exists as a communication ceremony and how it strengthens the group identity and self-identity of its members. From the perspective of communication ceremony, square dance is not a functional group that conveys information and gets information, but "a sacred ritual that draws people together as a group or as a common identity". We look at square dance, no longer disassembling it as a communicator, channel, audience, etc., but as a ritual in our daily life. From this point of view, square dance is both a medium and a message. It itself is full of symbolic significance. As a daily leisure and self-presentation way, square dance gathers members through its aggregation function of communication ceremony. The periodicity, repeatability, regularity and institution of square dance activities are the "compulsory" guarantee of this kind of aggregation. The cultural world, which can be used to dominate and accommodate human behavior, "involves the participants in the square dance, which provides a stage for the participants to present themselves. Communication ceremony has the function of gathering, integrating, strengthening the world outlook of values and forming identity. From ancient times, people began to use this collective dance, celebrations, festivals and other ritual activities to obtain self-identity and group identity. Through the emotional logic of group interaction, the square dance will have the same identity of the people gathered, and in the group to complete the identification of the group, group goal internalization, group cohesion formation process, The transition from "I" to "us" has been achieved. At the same time, in the group, through the confirmation of the legitimacy of the group to complete the strengthening of their own world outlook, through the mutual recognition of personal consciousness and group value, and the sharing and confirmation of common values, the internalization of group identity and group value has been completed. People express their feelings, express themselves, gather each other, share values through rituals. Rituals, as a glue and a medium, are "sacred ceremonies that bring people together as a group or as a common identity." In which participants strengthen their own values and world views, and establish or rebuild their own identity and group identity.
