本文旨在討論愛默生思想中的“天才”概念。拉爾夫·沃爾多·愛默生始終強(qiáng)調(diào)人的發(fā)展,而“天才”作為實(shí)現(xiàn)自我的人,能較好地詮釋人的發(fā)展,更能較好地詮釋愛默生的思想。通過閱讀愛默生的隨筆,本文發(fā)現(xiàn)天才有三個(gè)基本特質(zhì):自立、靈性和創(chuàng)造力。就研究方法而言,本文采用文本分析法分析愛默生的隨筆,尤其是針對有隨筆中含有“天才”這一詞的文本進(jìn)行分析,總結(jié)出了天才所必需具備的三個(gè)品質(zhì)。“天才”的自立,在于相信自己的思想,即便被世人排斥,“天才”依然堅(jiān)信自己的思想是對的,是有利于全人類的。“天才”的靈性,在于“天才”擁有單純的靈魂。靈魂越單純,思想就越單純,也就越容易接到宇宙法則的啟示,否則雜思太多,就會被自己的雜思阻礙,不易接到宇宙法則的啟示�！疤觳拧钡膭�(chuàng)造力,在于“天才”依托單純的靈魂進(jìn)行創(chuàng)造,將自己的思想呈現(xiàn)給世人。本文對“天才”的三個(gè)特質(zhì)進(jìn)一步分析,一方面從微觀的角度探討三個(gè)特質(zhì)(自立、靈性和創(chuàng)造力)內(nèi)在的邏輯關(guān)系,三者相互聯(lián)系,以證明三者是“天才”必不可少的特質(zhì)。另一方面從宏觀的角度,試在愛默生的思想體系中探討“天才”,論證其在愛默生思想體系中的重要性。這部分內(nèi)容首先論述了天才和“代表人物”、“人才...
