【摘要】：“改造國民性”作為中國近代社會影響深遠的思潮,是中國社會現(xiàn)代化進程中為達到人的現(xiàn)代化而掀起的一場全民族范圍的改造。在這一“國民性”改造的過程中,不可避免地伴隨著為追求與現(xiàn)代國民性相適應的文化的改革,中國近代音樂文化亦在其中。本文以“改造國民性”觀念作為切入點,將時間范圍鎖定在戊戌變法后到“五四”運動前后,以“改造國民性”思潮對近代音樂文化的影響及音樂文化自身隨之發(fā)生的變化為依據,將之分為戊戌變法后、辛亥革命前后和五四運動前后三個階段,通過對音樂的思想、實踐的變化和“改造國民性”觀念發(fā)展的點對點的研究,務求將“改造國民性”思潮對近代音樂文化的滲透過程做全面而細致的剖析,從而把近代音樂文化同近代社會思想變革相對接,在理論上為近代音樂文化的研究提供較為全新和廣闊的視角,并在研究中對中國近代音樂文化中的一些現(xiàn)象、創(chuàng)作及實踐等做出更全面、更深層的理解和詮釋。
