《我們仨》節(jié)選翻譯實踐報告:應(yīng)用格式塔意象再造還原人物形象

【摘要】:隨著越來越多中國文學(xué)作品在國外獲獎,中國文學(xué)作品的翻譯熱潮正在興起。然而,中國文學(xué)作品的翻譯仍然存在諸多問題。在翻譯研究不斷發(fā)展的背景下,諸多文學(xué)翻譯理論誕生,但是,依舊有許多主要問題尚未解決。這些問題大致歸為以下幾類:注重個人語言項目而忽視部分的整體性;注重文本的靜態(tài)分析而忽視心理過程中的動態(tài)活動;注重心理活動中的認(rèn)識方式而忽視審美活動。以上問題,無論從理論角度還是經(jīng)驗基礎(chǔ),均視翻譯過程為翻譯研究必不可少的一部分!段膶W(xué)翻譯中的審美過程:格式塔意象再造》一書,作者為姜秋霞。本書提出文學(xué)翻譯過程中“格式塔意象”,有別于以往翻譯理論。它強調(diào)文學(xué)翻譯過程中原文藝術(shù)形象的整體性及其再現(xiàn),從而實現(xiàn)譯文的審美體驗;诟袷剿庀笤僭炖碚,本研究以翻譯《我們仨》為實踐案例探索文學(xué)作品翻譯過程,再現(xiàn)原文整體的審美要素。本研究首先對翻譯實踐報告的過程和結(jié)果,以及格式塔意象再造的功能作了描述。其次,研究詳細展示了翻譯過程,從對話,動作和環(huán)境三方面給出了運用格式塔意象再造理論質(zhì)量控制的譯后反饋。作者不采用字對字、句對句翻譯,而是注重建立原文整體意象,用譯入語再現(xiàn)此意象從而達到譯文的連貫和和諧。作者力求實現(xiàn)歸化翻譯,使譯入語讀者閱讀譯文時產(chǎn)生同樣的審美體驗。通過研究發(fā)現(xiàn)運用格式塔意象再造理論指導(dǎo)譯者重建譯文格式塔意象才能實現(xiàn)語言信息和藝術(shù)要素的整體轉(zhuǎn)換。希望本研究在實際上和理論上都起到作用。實際上,結(jié)果顯示文學(xué)翻譯質(zhì)量的提高通過運用格式塔意象再造而實現(xiàn)。理論上,希望格式塔意象再造理論為文學(xué)翻譯開辟新的方向。
[Abstract]:With more and more Chinese literary works winning awards abroad, the translation boom of Chinese literary works is rising. However, there are still many problems in the translation of Chinese literary works. In the context of the continuous development of translation studies, many literary translation theories are born, but there are still many major problems to be solved. These problems can be classified into the following categories: paying attention to personal language items but neglecting the integrity of part; paying attention to static analysis of text and ignoring dynamic activities in psychological process; paying attention to the cognitive mode of psychological activities and neglecting aesthetic activities. From both theoretical and empirical perspectives, the above questions regard translation as an essential part of translation studies. "Aesthetic process in Literary Translation: reconstructing the Gestalt Image." by Jiang Qiuxia. This book proposes Gestalt imagery in literary translation, which is different from previous translation theories. It emphasizes the wholeness and reappearance of the artistic image of the original text in the process of literary translation, so as to realize the aesthetic experience of the translation. Based on the theory of Gestalt image reconstruction, this study explores the translation process of literary works and reproduces the aesthetic elements of the original text by taking the translation of the three of us as a practical case. The present study first describes the process and results of translation practice report and the function of Gestalt image reconstruction. Secondly, the study shows the translation process in detail, and gives posttranslational feedback on the quality control of Gestalt image reconstruction theory from three aspects: dialogue, action and environment. Instead of word-to-word and sentence-to-sentence translation, the author pays attention to the establishment of the whole image of the original text and reproduces the image in the target language so as to achieve coherence and harmony in the target text. The author tries to achieve domesticated translation so that the target readers have the same aesthetic experience when reading the target text. Through the study, it is found that using the theory of Gestalt image reconstruction to guide the translator to reconstruct the Gestalt image can realize the whole transformation of language information and artistic elements. It is hoped that this study will play an important role both in practice and in theory. In fact, the result shows that the improvement of literary translation quality is realized by the use of Gestalt image reconstruction. Theoretically, it is hoped that the theory of Gestalt image reconstruction will open a new direction for literary translation.
