[Abstract]:"Wang", which appears in the Book of songs, is sometimes not used as the proper name to refer to the son of Heaven, but to go and travel. Mao Zhuan has already pointed out a case. "Shang Ode to Yin Wu" also has a sentence that uses "Wang" as a verb to express going. This usage belongs to the official elegant words of the Shang and Zhou dynasties. From the late warring States period to the Han Dynasty, "to" interpret "king" became a common practice. "Wang" in the Book of songs as a verb to point out the line, go, can be consistent. The so-called royal family, king affairs, Wang Yu expedition, for the king, and the king of Zhou do not have a direct relationship. The misreading of the verb Wang in the Book of songs in the past is due to the lack of a comprehensive grasp of the extension of the meaning of Wang. The misreading of Wang Shi is also related to the lack of understanding of the style and style of the words in the Book of songs.
