[Abstract]:Directed by Bruce Beelsford in 1983, gentle pity (also known as gentle mercy) tells a seemingly prosaic story in a light tone. Mike, the protagonist of the story, was once a famous folk singer, but his dream was blocked, and gradually estranged from his popular wife, Daisy, he began to drink alcohol, was completely destroyed by the ups and downs of fate, until he came to the remote Texas town.
