美國棒球,國家神話和電影表征

【摘要】:棒球是深受美國人民喜愛的體育項目之一,也是美國發(fā)展最早的職業(yè)運動,被稱為美國的“國球”。這項運動早在十八世紀就已經開始盛行,距今已有二百多年的歷史。越來越多的美國民眾認為棒球是其國家歷史進程中不可或缺的重要組成部分。在美國,棒球已經發(fā)展成為國家神話,無論歷史如何變遷,都能發(fā)現棒球的身影貫穿于歷史的長河之中。 棒球運動的特點是力量與智慧并濟。在比賽中,同隊球員間的相互配合以及為顧全大局,犧牲小我的精神是至關重要的。同時,通過自身的艱苦奮斗,許多球員都實現了他們的夢想。在1947年,,美國職業(yè)棒球大聯盟率先打破了種族隔離。此外,全家人周末一起去看棒球比賽,還體現出了家庭觀念的重要性。通過傳承棒球精神,棒球文化已深入美國人的生活。 美國是世界公認的電影強國,其電影所表達的內容與國家文化有著密切的聯系。因此,在眾多的美國電影中,以棒球為題材的各類電影也為數不少。然而,棒球文化對于美國的影響不僅體現在這些以棒球為主題的電影上,通過從不以棒球為題材的電影中挖掘出棒球精神,更能反映出棒球在美國傳統文化中的重要性。 本文主要分為三個部分:第一章介紹美國棒球的起源和發(fā)展以及分析棒球被稱為美國“國球”的主要原因。第二章分析美國棒球運動所體現出來的主要精神,并由此引導出棒球之所以能發(fā)展成為國家神話的原因。第三章闡述美國棒球精神在美國電影中的具體表現,并進一步說明棒球精神、國家神話和電影表征之間密不可分的關聯以及這三者之間的相互影響。
[Abstract]:Baseball is one of the most popular sports in the United States and the earliest professional sport in the United States. The sport began to prevail in the 18 th century and has a history of more than 200 years. A growing number of Americans see baseball as an integral part of their national history. In the United States, baseball has developed into a national myth, no matter how history changes, baseball can be found throughout the long history of the figure. Baseball is characterized by strength and wisdom. In the game, the team player cooperation and for the overall situation, sacrifice ego spirit is essential. At the same time, through their own hard work, many players have come true their dreams. In 1947, Major League Baseball broke apartheid first. In addition, the family weekend to watch baseball games, but also reflects the importance of family concept. By passing on the spirit of baseball, baseball culture has penetrated into American life. The United States is recognized as a film power in the world, and the content of its films is closely related to national culture. Therefore, in many American films, baseball as the theme of the various types of films also a large number. However, the influence of baseball culture on the United States is not only reflected in the baseball movies, but also reflects the importance of baseball in the traditional American culture by excavating the baseball spirit in the movies that never take baseball as the subject matter. This paper is divided into three parts: the first chapter introduces the origin and development of American baseball and analyzes the main reasons why baseball is called "national ball". The second chapter analyzes the main spirit of American baseball, and leads to the reason why baseball has developed into a national myth. The third chapter expounds the specific performance of American baseball spirit in American movies, and further explains the inextricable relationship among baseball spirit, national myth and film characterization, and their mutual influence.
