超越民族中心主義:《阿凡達(dá)》身份訴求

【摘要】:在當(dāng)代文化研究中,文化身份問題已引起人們的普遍關(guān)注,并且起著舉足輕重的作用。近年來,理論家們對文化身份問題的研究日益激增。文化身份問題已由最初的回答關(guān)于“我是誰”,發(fā)展到涉及種族,,民族,階級,宗教,語言和意識形態(tài)等相關(guān)領(lǐng)域;與此同時,隨著全球化的發(fā)展,出現(xiàn)的身份危機(jī)問題有待解決。因此,對文化身份疑惑與重新建構(gòu)的分析變得十分有必要。 論文由五個部分組成:第一章介紹電影《阿凡達(dá)》故事背景內(nèi)容,展示主人翁在不同文化背景下的不同身份,同時介紹了西方種族中心主義的相關(guān)研究。 第二章重點(diǎn)分析了主人翁杰克的身份迷失與困惑,包括他在真實(shí)世界與潘多拉星球兩種不同文化背景下的身份沖突,文化信仰的破滅以及在不同文化下對待“他者”的態(tài)度。 第三章主要以主人翁的身份訴求為中心,包括了應(yīng)該如何正確對待西方種族主義。主人翁運(yùn)用身份認(rèn)同理論中的“雜糅”與“模仿”兩種策略來重新建構(gòu)自己的身份。 本文是一篇以案例分析為主線,結(jié)合文獻(xiàn)研究,描述性研究,垮學(xué)科研究,運(yùn)用文化身份理論,深入分析了好萊塢電影《阿凡達(dá)》中主人翁杰克·蘇利在兩種不同社會文化沖突下,不斷掙扎和自我反省,最終重新建構(gòu)自己身份的過程,總結(jié)了文化身份的幾點(diǎn)特征,揭示出西方中心主義是文化對立的根源,以及掩蓋在文化身份下的意識形態(tài)話語成為某些國家或團(tuán)體用來維護(hù)自身利益的真正目的。 同時,本文對全球化背景下文化身份建構(gòu)問題提供了理論借鑒和實(shí)踐指導(dǎo),在很大程度上彌補(bǔ)了這方面研究的不足和缺陷,尤其對于第三世界國家人民認(rèn)清身份問題實(shí)質(zhì),樹立跨文化意識,實(shí)現(xiàn)多元文化共存與發(fā)展起到了啟發(fā)性的作用。
[Abstract]:In contemporary cultural studies, the issue of cultural identity has aroused widespread concern and played a pivotal role. In recent years, theorists' research on cultural identity is increasing rapidly. The question of cultural identity has evolved from the initial answer to "who am I" to related areas such as race, ethnicity, class, religion, language and ideology; at the same time, with the development of globalization, The problem of identity crisis has yet to be solved. Therefore, the analysis of cultural identity doubt and reconstruction becomes very necessary. The thesis is composed of five parts: the first chapter introduces the background content of the film Avatar, shows the different identities of the protagonists in different cultural backgrounds, and introduces the relevant research of the western ethnocentrism. The second chapter focuses on the identity loss and confusion of the master Jack, including his identity conflict in the real world and Pandora's two different cultural backgrounds, the breakdown of his cultural beliefs and his attitude towards the "other" in different cultures. The third chapter focuses on the identity of the master, including how to deal with racism in the West. The master reconstructs his identity with the strategies of "hybridity" and "imitation" in identity theory. This article is a case study as the main line, combined with literature research, descriptive research, the use of cultural identity theory, This paper analyzes in depth the process of Jack Su Li, the main character of the Hollywood film Avatar, struggling and self-reflection in the conflict between two different social cultures, and finally reconstructs his identity, and sums up several characteristics of cultural identity. It is revealed that Western centralism is the root of cultural antagonism, and the ideological discourse hidden under cultural identity has become the real purpose of some countries or groups to defend their own interests. At the same time, this paper provides theoretical reference and practical guidance for the construction of cultural identity under the background of globalization, which to a great extent makes up for the deficiencies and shortcomings of the research in this field, especially for the people of the third world countries who recognize the essence of the identity problem. The establishment of cross-cultural consciousness and the realization of multi-cultural coexistence and development have played an enlightening role.
