The article under review has been written by Benjamin James Inyang, who is professor at Department of Business Management, University of Calabar, Nigeria and published in International Bulletin of Business Administration in the year 2010, under the title "Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM): A Paradigm Shift for Achieving Sustained Competitive Advantage in Organization". The paper may be regarded as the continuation of the resource based view of human resource management where the human resources possessed by an organization, if strategically used could resulted in sustainable competitive advantage. The writer in the paper has stressed as the environmental factors confronted business organizations are becoming much more complex and dynamic with the passage of time, if an organization direct its actions towards utilizing its human talent strategically, the organization may be in position to outclass its competition and accomplish its long-standing goals and objectives. This is due to the fact that human resources are regarded as a mean that guarantee synergy for an organization.
