【摘要】： 隨著學(xué)術(shù)交流的日益頻繁，學(xué)術(shù)論文摘要作為一種獨立的語篇，受到了學(xué)者們的廣泛關(guān)注。許多學(xué)者如O’Connor and Woodford(1976)，Day(1998)，Slade(2000)等從學(xué)術(shù)規(guī)范的角度對摘要的字數(shù)、段落、摘要應(yīng)包含的信息等做出明確規(guī)定；也有學(xué)者如Graetz(1985)，Swales(1990)等從體裁分析的角度研究摘要語篇的結(jié)構(gòu)特征和語言特征；還有學(xué)者如Melander et al．(1997)對摘要語篇進行跨文化、跨語言的對比研究。然而，上述研究主要集中于摘要語篇的體裁分析，忽視了摘要的交際性特征。本文擬在評價理論的框架內(nèi)，探討摘要語篇人際意義的構(gòu)建過程。 由Martin與White在20世紀末構(gòu)建并逐步完善發(fā)展的評價理論是對系統(tǒng)功能語法中人際意義的擴展。該理論由態(tài)度、介入與分級三個子系統(tǒng)構(gòu)成，主要研究語篇或說話人表達、協(xié)商特定的主體間關(guān)系的語言資源；研究語言使用者如何運用這些語言資源對語篇中的觀點或現(xiàn)象進行評價、表達立場和調(diào)節(jié)人際關(guān)系。自該理論創(chuàng)建以來，已廣泛運用于研究傳媒、歷史等語篇的人際意義。這些研究說明該理論是語篇分析的一種有效方法。然而，，仍有諸多語篇領(lǐng)域尚未涉足，摘要語篇便是其中之一。 本文主要研究英文期刊摘要，而不考慮其他類型的摘要，如：會議論文摘要，學(xué)位論文摘要等。為了避免不同學(xué)科領(lǐng)域造成的研究差異，追求研究的客觀性，本文的30篇語料全部來自5種國際權(quán)威語言學(xué)類期刊，分別是：《語言學(xué)雜志》、《語用學(xué)雜志》、《應(yīng)用語言學(xué)》、《認知語言學(xué)》、《英語教學(xué)雜志》。這些雜志涵蓋理論語 言學(xué)與應(yīng)用語言學(xué)的各個分支學(xué)科。 本文在評價理論框架內(nèi)主要討論以下三個問題： 問題一：學(xué)術(shù)論文摘要語篇中評價資源是如何分布的? 問題二：學(xué)術(shù)論文摘要語篇中評價資源是如何體現(xiàn)的? 問題三：評價資源的使用是否與學(xué)術(shù)摘要語篇的客觀性相矛盾? 數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計分析表明摘要語篇中存在大量的評價資源。態(tài)度、介入與分級資源在摘要中具有不同的分布情況。態(tài)度資源的使用頻率明顯高于介入與分級資源的使用。每一次系統(tǒng)內(nèi)的不同范疇也具有不同的分布特征。各次系統(tǒng)和次范疇具有不同的體現(xiàn)形式，有的體現(xiàn)為詞匯形式，有的則為語法結(jié)構(gòu)形式。對評價資源的分布與體現(xiàn)方式的研究表明評價資源的使用與摘要的客觀性特征并不矛盾。 本研究具有重要的理論和實踐意義。對摘要語篇的評價性研究不僅可以擴展評價理論的研究領(lǐng)域，而且對摘要的寫作與教學(xué)具有重要的啟示。
[Abstract]:With the increasing frequency of academic communication, abstracts of academic papers are regarded as an independent text. Many scholars, such as O'Connor and Wood for 1976D (1998), have paid more and more attention to it. Slade2000) and so on from the academic standard angle to the abstract word number, the paragraph, the summary should contain the information and so on to make the explicit stipulation; Some scholars, such as Graetzian 1985 / Swales1990), have studied the structural and linguistic features of abstract texts from the perspective of genre analysis. Some scholars, such as Melander et al. 1997, have carried out cross-cultural and cross-linguistic contrastive studies on abstract texts. However, the above studies mainly focus on genre analysis of abstract texts. Ignoring the communicative characteristics of abstracts, this paper intends to explore the process of interpersonal meaning construction in abstract discourse within the framework of evaluation theory. The evaluation theory, which was constructed by Martin and White in 20th century and developed gradually, is an extension of interpersonal meaning in systemic functional grammar. The three subsystems of intervention and classification are mainly concerned with the discourse or speaker expression and the negotiation of language resources for the relationship between specific subjects. Since the establishment of the theory, it has been widely used in the study of the media in the study of how language users use these language resources to evaluate views or phenomena in discourse, to express their positions and to regulate interpersonal relationships. These studies show that this theory is an effective method for discourse analysis. However, there are still many areas of discourse that have not yet been explored, among which abstract discourse is one of them. This paper mainly studies the abstracts of English journals, without considering other types of abstracts, such as abstracts of conference papers, abstracts of dissertations, etc. In order to avoid the differences in research caused by different disciplines, we pursue the objectivity of research. All of the 30 articles in this paper come from five international authoritative linguistics journals, namely: Journal of Linguistics, Journal of Pragmatics, Applied Linguistics, Cognitive Linguistics. The Journal of English Teaching. These magazines cover theoretical language. The branches of linguistics and applied linguistics. This paper mainly discusses the following three problems within the framework of evaluation theory: Question 1: how are evaluation resources distributed in abstracts of academic papers? Question two: how are the evaluation resources reflected in the abstract of academic papers? Question three: is the use of evaluation resources contradictory to the objectivity of academic abstracts? Statistical analysis shows that there are a lot of evaluation resources and attitudes in abstract discourse. There are different distribution of intervention and graded resources in the abstract. The frequency of using attitude resources is obviously higher than that of intervention and graded resources. The different categories in each system also have different distribution characteristics. The whole and sub-categories have different forms of embodiment. Some of them are lexical form, others are grammatical structure form. The study of distribution and embodiment of evaluation resources shows that the use of evaluation resources is not contradictory with the objectivity of abstract. This study is of great theoretical and practical significance. The evaluative study of abstract discourse can not only expand the research field of evaluation theory, but also have important implications for the writing and teaching of abstract.
