【摘要】： 謝爾巴,蘇聯(lián)杰出語(yǔ)言學(xué)家。1880年3月3日生于彼得堡, 1903年畢業(yè)于彼得堡大學(xué)。在那里,他受過(guò)博杜恩.德.庫(kù)爾德內(nèi)的系統(tǒng)指導(dǎo)。1916～1941年任彼得格勒大學(xué)(今列寧格勒大學(xué))教授。1943年起任蘇聯(lián)科學(xué)院院士,在科學(xué)院工作。1944年12月26日卒于莫斯科。 謝爾巴的研究領(lǐng)域十分廣泛:普通語(yǔ)言學(xué)、普通語(yǔ)音學(xué)、語(yǔ)法學(xué)、詞典編纂學(xué)、外語(yǔ)教學(xué)法、文字和正字法、方言學(xué)等。他在上述這些領(lǐng)域?qū)μK聯(lián)語(yǔ)言學(xué)乃至世界語(yǔ)言學(xué)都作出了重要貢獻(xiàn)。他認(rèn)為語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象具有三重性,應(yīng)分為言語(yǔ)活動(dòng)(說(shuō)話和理解的過(guò)程)、語(yǔ)言材料(說(shuō)出的和理解的全部材料)和語(yǔ)言系統(tǒng),而語(yǔ)言學(xué)的任務(wù)是再現(xiàn)語(yǔ)言系統(tǒng);他把語(yǔ)法學(xué)分為消極的和積極的,認(rèn)為前者從形式出發(fā)研究語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)要素的功能和意義,后者則應(yīng)該教會(huì)人們用這些形式來(lái)表達(dá)自己的思想;在詞典編纂學(xué)方面,他提出的編纂一般詞典和規(guī)范(科學(xué)院)詞典、解釋詞典和翻譯詞典的原則、方法和理論等成為后來(lái)蘇聯(lián)詞典編纂學(xué)的理論基礎(chǔ)。他的這些思想和學(xué)術(shù)迄今仍具有生命力,被語(yǔ)言學(xué)界廣為引用。 作為列寧格勒音位學(xué)派的創(chuàng)始人,謝爾巴是語(yǔ)音學(xué)的奠基人之一。他早期的觀點(diǎn)見于《俄語(yǔ)元音的音質(zhì)與音長(zhǎng)》(1912),后期觀點(diǎn)反映在《法語(yǔ)語(yǔ)音學(xué)》(1937)和蘇聯(lián)科學(xué)院《俄語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法》第一卷(1952)中。他認(rèn)為音位是語(yǔ)言中能夠區(qū)別詞與詞形的音型。他把同一音位的各個(gè)實(shí)體(實(shí)際發(fā)出的音)稱為“音品”(相當(dāng)于“音位變體”)。他強(qiáng)調(diào),不同的音有可能歸并為一個(gè)音位,但相同的音不能分屬于不同的音位。 在外語(yǔ)教學(xué)方面,謝爾巴反對(duì)單純摹仿,主張?jiān)谕庹Z(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的初級(jí)階段通過(guò)母語(yǔ)與外語(yǔ)的對(duì)比來(lái)排除本族語(yǔ)的干擾。 謝爾巴一生共發(fā)表11部專著和詞典,69篇論文(其中7篇是用法文寫的),還有10多篇學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。他的主要著作有《論俄語(yǔ)中的詞類》(1928)、《詞典學(xué)原理初探》(1940)和《論語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象的三重性與語(yǔ)言學(xué)中的實(shí)驗(yàn)》(1931)等,這些著作已成為蘇聯(lián)語(yǔ)言學(xué)不可多得的寶貴遺產(chǎn),也成為世界語(yǔ)言學(xué)寶庫(kù)中的經(jīng)典之作。 本論文共分為3章。第一章對(duì)謝爾巴的生平和學(xué)術(shù)生涯進(jìn)行了回顧和評(píng)述;第二章對(duì)其在語(yǔ)言學(xué)不同學(xué)科的主要著述所反映的學(xué)術(shù)思想和觀點(diǎn)等進(jìn)行了分析和審視,第三章是我們對(duì)該學(xué)者學(xué)術(shù)思想所做的基本結(jié)論和評(píng)價(jià)。鑒于國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)界對(duì)謝爾巴的研究基本屬于空白的狀況,本論文作為一種嘗試,試圖對(duì)該學(xué)者的學(xué)術(shù)成就和對(duì)蘇聯(lián)語(yǔ)言學(xué)的貢獻(xiàn)作出初步的評(píng)介。
[Abstract]:Scelba, a prominent Soviet linguist, was born in Petersburg on March 3, 1880 and graduated from Petersburg University in 1903. There, he was subjected to Boodun. De. Systematic guidance within Kurdistan. Professor, Petergrad University (present-day Leningrad University), 1916-1941. Academician of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, since 1943, at the Academy of Sciences. Died in Moscow on 26 December 1944. Scelba studied a wide range of fields: general linguistics, general phonetics, grammar, lexicography, foreign language teaching, text and orthography, dialect, and so on. He made important contributions to Soviet linguistics and even world linguistics in these fields. He thinks that language phenomenon has three natures, it should be divided into speech activity (process of speech and understanding), language material (all material of speaking and understanding) and language system, while the task of linguistics is to reproduce language system; He regarded grammar as negative and positive, thinking that the former should study the function and meaning of language structure elements from form, and the latter should teach people to express their thoughts in these forms. In lexicography, he put forward the principles, methods and theories of compiling general dictionaries and standard dictionaries, explaining dictionaries and translating dictionaries, etc., which became the theoretical basis of lexicography in the later Soviet Union. His thoughts and academicians are still alive and widely cited by linguists. As the founder of Leningrad phoneme school, Scelba was one of the founders of phonetics. His early views are reflected in the quality and length of Russian vowels (1912), and in French phonetics (1937) and in Russian Grammar, Soviet Academy of Sciences, vol. 1 (1952). He thinks phoneme is the phoneme that can distinguish between word and word form in language. He called the entities of the same phoneme (the actual sounds) "phonological" (equivalent to "phonological variations"). He stressed that different sounds may merge into one phoneme, but that the same tone cannot belong to different phonemes. In the aspect of foreign language teaching, Scelba opposes imitation and argues that the interference of native language should be eliminated through the contrast between mother tongue and foreign language in the primary stage of foreign language learning. Scelba published 11 monographs and dictionaries, 69 papers (7 of which were written in French) and more than 10 academic papers. His major works are on the part of speech in Russian (1928), on the principles of lexicography (1940) and on the Triple Nature of linguistic phenomena and experiments in Linguistics (1931), etc. These works have become a rare legacy of Soviet linguistics and a classic in the world's treasure house of linguistics. This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter reviews and comments on Scelba's life and academic career. The second chapter analyzes and examines the academic thoughts and viewpoints reflected in his main works in different disciplines of linguistics. The third chapter is the basic conclusion and evaluation of the scholars' academic thoughts. In view of the fact that the study of Scelba in China is basically blank, this paper attempts to make a preliminary review of the academic achievements of the scholar and his contribution to USSR linguistics as an attempt to make a preliminary review of the academic achievements of the scholar and his contribution to USSR linguistics.
