【摘要】：公共圖書館是近代文明發(fā)展的產(chǎn)物,也是圖書館系統(tǒng)的重要組成部分,在民主生活和民眾教育等方面發(fā)揮著重要作用。研究公共圖書館史不僅有助于我們了解公共圖書館的過去,而且有助于我們把握公共圖書館的現(xiàn)在和未來。武漢歷史悠久,文化底蘊(yùn)豐富,是近代中國"交通文軌"的重要發(fā)源地之一,其近代公共圖書館事業(yè)也取得了不錯(cuò)的發(fā)展。1903年,武昌曇華林誕生了我國第一所具有現(xiàn)代意義的公共圖書館——文華公書林,開創(chuàng)了新式圖書館的辦理模式;1904年湖北省圖書館的創(chuàng)辦,開啟了省級(jí)官辦公共圖書館之風(fēng),帶動(dòng)了其它省級(jí)公共圖書館的相繼建立。從某種程度上講,武漢近代圖書館史的發(fā)展歷程,可視為中國圖書館事業(yè)發(fā)展史的縮影。因此,研究武漢近代圖書館史的發(fā)生與發(fā)展規(guī)律,可為當(dāng)代圖書館事業(yè)的發(fā)展提供借鑒。目前學(xué)術(shù)界對(duì)于圖書館史的研究已非常多,但關(guān)于武漢圖書館史的專門研究卻寥寥無幾,大多數(shù)以單個(gè)圖書館為研究主體,缺乏區(qū)域性的整體眼光。鑒于此,本文通過文獻(xiàn)調(diào)研、案例分析、檔案資料驗(yàn)證等研究方法對(duì)1840-1937年的武漢地區(qū)圖書館誕生的歷史背景、發(fā)展軌跡以及產(chǎn)生的影響進(jìn)行全面研究,以期為我國當(dāng)代圖書館的事業(yè)建設(shè)和圖書館教育的發(fā)展提供借鑒。全文共分為5個(gè)部分,主要內(nèi)容如下:第一部分為引言,從整體上介紹了本文的研究背景、研究意義、研究現(xiàn)狀、研究內(nèi)容、研究方法以及本文有新意之處。第二部分分析了近代武漢公共圖書館的誕生背景,結(jié)合當(dāng)時(shí)的歷史背景和社會(huì)條件,認(rèn)為武漢近代公共圖書館的誕生四個(gè)因素:近代西方圖書館先進(jìn)的文化理念和技術(shù)的傳入、晚清時(shí)期先進(jìn)知識(shí)分子的積極倡導(dǎo)與參與、清末新政文化教育方面的改革以及近代武漢地區(qū)文化教育發(fā)展的需要。第三部分系統(tǒng)梳理了近代武漢公共圖書館的誕生歷程,以1840-1937為時(shí)間段,主要分為三個(gè)時(shí)間軸進(jìn)行研究:1840-1910年為近代武漢公共圖書館的破土萌芽時(shí)期;1911-1926為武漢公共圖書館初步發(fā)展時(shí)期;1927-1937年的國共對(duì)峙十年是武漢公共圖書館迅猛發(fā)展的黃金十年。第四部分探討了近代武漢公共圖書館服務(wù)開展的概況,并對(duì)各個(gè)圖書館的服務(wù)開展?fàn)顩r進(jìn)行了客觀評(píng)價(jià)。第五部分鑒于近代武漢公共圖書館的發(fā)展歷程的梳理,分析了近代圖書館的誕生對(duì)于當(dāng)今圖書館事業(yè)發(fā)展的影響與啟示,從政府和圖書館兩個(gè)角度提出了對(duì)策,祈能推動(dòng)我國圖書館事業(yè)的發(fā)展。
[Abstract]:The public library is the product of the development of modern civilization and an important part of the library system. It plays an important role in democratic life and public education. Studying the history of public libraries not only helps us to understand the past of public libraries, but also helps us to grasp the present and future of public libraries. Wuhan has a long history and rich cultural background. It is one of the important birthplaces of modern China's "traffic document track", and its modern public library has also achieved good development. Wenhua Public Library, the first public library of modern significance, was born in Wuchang, and the management mode of new-style library was created, and the establishment of Hubei Provincial Library in 1904 opened the style of provincial public library. Led to the establishment of other provincial public libraries one after another. To some extent, the development course of modern library history in Wuhan can be regarded as the epitome of the history of library development in China. Therefore, the study of the occurrence and development law of Wuhan modern library history can provide reference for the development of contemporary library. At present, there are many researches on library history in academic circles, but the special research on library history in Wuhan is very few, most of them take a single library as the main body of study, and lack the whole vision of region. In view of this, this paper makes a comprehensive study on the historical background, development track and impact of the birth of Wuhan Regional Library in 1840-1937 by means of literature investigation, case study and archival data verification. In order to provide reference for the construction of contemporary library and the development of library education. The paper is divided into five parts. The main contents are as follows: the first part is the introduction, which introduces the research background, research significance, research status, research content, research methods and new ideas in this paper. The second part analyzes the background of the birth of the modern Wuhan public library, combining with the historical background and social conditions at that time, thinks that the birth of Wuhan modern public library is four factors: the introduction of advanced cultural ideas and technology of modern western libraries. In the late Qing Dynasty, the advanced intellectuals actively advocated and participated, the cultural and educational reform of the New deal in the late Qing Dynasty and the needs of the development of cultural education in Wuhan in modern times. The third part systematically combs the birth course of modern Wuhan public library, taking 1840-1937 as the time period, This paper mainly divides into three time axes to carry on the research. The period of 1840-1910 is the burgeoning period of the modern Wuhan public library. The ten years of confrontation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of Wuhan during the initial development period of Wuhan Public Library is the golden decade of Wuhan Public Library's swift and violent development. The fourth part discusses the general situation of the public library service development in modern Wuhan, and carries on the objective appraisal to each library service development situation. The fifth part, in view of the development course of modern Wuhan public library, analyzes the influence and enlightenment of the birth of modern library on the development of library cause, and puts forward the countermeasures from two angles of government and library. Pray can promote the development of library cause in our country.
