[Abstract]:On 10 May 2017, IFIP issued a policy statement on "Library protection of cultural heritage", calling on policy makers to support the integration of libraries into the target system of governments for the protection and preservation of the world's cultural and natural heritage; Recognizing that documentary heritage resources are an important component of global cultural heritage and that specific plans are in place to fund their preservation, and that libraries are important contributors to the protection of cultural heritage
