As a result, this certain media brings a seriesof deep effects which cannot be neglected on the carrier, content, method, subject, object ofideological political education, and it has brought great opportunities and challenges too.Therefore, it is a pressing task to research and investigate how to carry out the colleges’ideological and political practice in the visual threshold of microblog. This thesis starts withthe definition, characteristic, function and the trend of development of microblog, and thendeeply analyzes and discusses the opportunities and challenges it brings. Thus giving advisesto the government, colleges and individual and strengthens and improves the progress of thecolleges’ ideological and political practice.Basing on this framework, the first half of paper focus on the theoretical explanation, itstarts with the topic selection background and the domestic and abroad research status. Firstof all, the thesis give a particular overview of the microblog in the perspective of thedefinition, development course and trend, characteristics, functions, and attraction to thecolleges students.
