本次翻譯實(shí)踐通過將科技類文本與翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論結(jié)合來探索該理論在此類文本翻譯中的可行性。信息科技的發(fā)展對(duì)信息科技英語翻譯提出了更高的要求。報(bào)告的翻譯材料選自《信息安全:基礎(chǔ)、技術(shù)及應(yīng)用》的第七章和第八章,該書出版于2018年,第一部分主要介紹信息安全的理論基礎(chǔ),第二部分介紹相關(guān)技術(shù)及其應(yīng)用。這本書屬于科技類文本,主要特點(diǎn)有語言簡(jiǎn)潔,邏輯嚴(yán)謹(jǐn),專業(yè)術(shù)語多等。翻譯科技類文本時(shí)要注意用詞及表達(dá)的準(zhǔn)確無誤,忠實(shí)于原文,注重意義的準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)。根據(jù)這些特點(diǎn),作者選用卡特福德翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論來指導(dǎo)本次翻譯實(shí)踐。卡特福德的翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論基于意義上的對(duì)等提出翻譯要更加注重文本意義的傳遞�？ㄌ馗５绿岢隽藘煞N轉(zhuǎn)換:層次轉(zhuǎn)換和范疇轉(zhuǎn)換。在卡特翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論的指導(dǎo)下,作者運(yùn)用更加具體的詞性轉(zhuǎn)換,時(shí)態(tài)轉(zhuǎn)換,單復(fù)數(shù)轉(zhuǎn)換等翻譯方法使譯文盡可能與源文本內(nèi)容保持一致,并使譯文符合譯文讀者的閱讀習(xí)慣。本報(bào)告表明,卡特福德翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論對(duì)于指導(dǎo)信息技術(shù)行業(yè)的英語文本中的詞匯,短語,句子等的轉(zhuǎn)換具有較強(qiáng)的實(shí)用性。
