《中國西北發(fā)展報告(2019)》由我國西北地區(qū)陜西、甘肅、寧夏、青海、新疆五省區(qū)社會科學院聯(lián)合組織專家學者撰寫的反映中國西北地區(qū)改革發(fā)展的綜合性年度研究報告,是研究西北地區(qū)經濟、政治、社會、文化、生態(tài)文明“五位一體”建設中共同面臨的重大理論和實踐問題的重要科研成果。該書綜合篇中《改革開放40年來中國西北地區(qū)經濟發(fā)展報告》一章為本次翻譯實踐任務,旨在為國內外相關從業(yè)人員提供中國西北地區(qū)經濟發(fā)展狀況的有效信息,進而為西北地區(qū)經濟發(fā)展贏得更多機遇。本報告以《改革開放40年來中國西北地區(qū)經濟發(fā)展報告》英譯為例,首先從詞匯、句法和語篇三個層面對原文進行具體分析,根據賴斯的文本類型理論,這一官方經濟類報告具有信息類文本的鮮明特征,從而探討相應翻譯方法。在詞匯層面,對文中的經濟類術語及中國特色政治經濟熱詞進行統(tǒng)一,并借助術語庫等工具手段和官方文件語料進行查證,保證用詞的嚴謹客觀;對于漢語文本經常使用的范疇詞,采用增譯和減譯的技巧靈活處理。在句法層面,鑒于英漢語在句法和語篇銜接上的差異,對于無主語的句子,翻譯時需根據語境選擇增加主語;對于平行句和流水句,則通過簡化結構或信息重組,譯成邏輯關系清晰的英語...
