隨著城市化進程的不斷發(fā)展,人們的生活變得日益便利;不過,城市化建設(shè)也帶來了一系列問題。不少專家學(xué)者著書立說,探尋解決辦法,《美國城市體系:地理學(xué)視角》就是這樣一部著作。該書系統(tǒng)地介紹了美國城市體系的演變過程,是一部介紹美國城市體系的科普著作。我國目前正處于城市化高速發(fā)展階段,學(xué)習(xí)國外有關(guān)城市系統(tǒng)發(fā)展的經(jīng)驗與知識,對預(yù)防及解決我國城市化建設(shè)進程中可能出現(xiàn)或已經(jīng)出現(xiàn)的問題有著重要的指導(dǎo)和借鑒作用。本文運用斯坦納的闡釋學(xué)翻譯理論,對筆者翻譯的《美國城市體系:地理學(xué)視角》（第9章）進行匯報,通過例證,分析、歸納總結(jié)筆者在此次翻譯中所運用的方法與技巧。斯坦納的闡釋學(xué)翻譯理論包括信任、侵入、吸收和補償�！靶湃巍奔聪嘈潘g文本是有價值的作品,“侵入”就是譯者對作品的理解過程,“吸收”是譯者在理解文本之后的表達過程,“補償”是尋求原文與譯文在內(nèi)容和形式兩方面的平衡過程。這四個步驟環(huán)環(huán)相扣,構(gòu)成完整的翻譯過程。筆者在翻譯《美國城市體系:地理學(xué)視角》時,遵循了斯坦納的闡釋學(xué)翻譯四步驟。首先確定原作有價值,值得譯介給中國讀者。接著透徹理解原作,掌握原作語言特點。然后根據(jù)原作語言特點,運用適當(dāng)?shù)姆g方法,將原...
