本研究在以往研究的基礎(chǔ)上,主要研究了中動語態(tài)在句法,語義,語用和認(rèn)知四個方面的特征,并且研究者在回顧了新聞英語的基本知識后研究了中動語態(tài)在新聞英語的語篇中的應(yīng)用。在研究中,研究者主要提出三個研究問題：1)中動語態(tài)在句法,語義,語用和認(rèn)知四個方面的特征相同嗎?2)英語中的主動語態(tài),被動語態(tài)和中動語態(tài)在新聞?wù)Z篇中是如何應(yīng)用的?3)中動語態(tài)在新聞?wù)Z篇中的應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域是什么樣的?為了回答這三個研究問題,研究者使用量化研究和實證研究的方法分別從2009年至2010年美國《時代周刊》中的The Word欄目和2009年至2010年英國《經(jīng)濟學(xué)人》中的The World This Week欄目各選取30篇新聞?wù)Z篇,分析了包含中動語態(tài),主動語態(tài)和被動語態(tài)小句的篇章比例,并且就中動語態(tài)在兩份雜志中的應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域做出對比分析。通過對收集的數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行分析討論,研究者得出以下結(jié)論：1)中動語態(tài)在句法,語義,語用和認(rèn)知四個方面的特征存在不同；2)英語主動語態(tài)在新聞?wù)Z篇中應(yīng)用最為廣泛,被動語態(tài)次之,中動語態(tài)最少,但三種語態(tài)在新聞?wù)Z篇中都有自己的作用；3)中動語態(tài)主要應(yīng)用于新聞?wù)Z篇中的政治新聞和天氣新聞領(lǐng)域中。理論上,論文運...
