本次實踐以美國當代暢銷科普類書籍作家托馬斯·D·西利（Thomas D.Seeley）的科普著作《蜜蜂的生活:蜜蜂在野外不為人知的故事》（The Lives of Bees:The Untold Story of the Honey Bee in the Wild）的部分章節(jié)為例,進行翻譯研究。直至近幾十年來,生物學家才將視角轉向蜜蜂在野外的生活。之前主要的研究方向,都主要集中于人工飼養(yǎng)蜂群的生活習性,而我們對蜜蜂在野外的生活卻知之甚少。該書對現(xiàn)代社會蜜蜂產業(yè)的發(fā)展和人與自然的生態(tài)關系具有重要意義。鑒于該書目前沒有漢語譯本,譯者選擇了該書的第1、2章進行翻譯,其中英文字數(shù)為17533字,中文譯文為28492字。該報告主要從項目背景、翻譯過程、實例分析等幾個方面對該書的翻譯進行了分析與探討。在該報告中,譯者主要對翻譯過程中遇到難點進行分析,并針對相關問題提出一些翻譯策略。本次翻譯過程中所遇到的難點主要分為兩個方面:詞法層面及句法層面。針對詞法層面的翻譯難點,譯者主要采用了詞義選擇、詞義引申、音譯、直譯及詞性轉換等方法來解決相關問題。句法層面上,譯者主要采用了變詞為句、句式重構、順句操作及...
