本報(bào)告以作者漢譯《當(dāng)代修辭學(xué)之管窺》（第一章和第九章）的翻譯實(shí)踐為基礎(chǔ),闡釋了在語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯的指導(dǎo)下,如何借助一定的翻譯策略對(duì)學(xué)術(shù)專著的翻譯起到一定的借鑒作用�！懂�(dāng)代修辭學(xué)之管窺》一書(shū)是由美國(guó)著名修辭學(xué)家索尼婭·K·福斯等人撰寫(xiě)的一本學(xué)術(shù)專著。該書(shū)自出版以來(lái)在修辭學(xué)界產(chǎn)生了巨大的反響,并由學(xué)者介紹到中國(guó)。到目前為止,該書(shū)在國(guó)內(nèi)還沒(méi)有中文版本問(wèn)世。因此,其出版有助于我國(guó)更多的學(xué)生和學(xué)者致力于修辭學(xué)研究,從而擴(kuò)大修辭學(xué)在提升世界和諧方面的影響力。語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯是英國(guó)著名的翻譯理論家和實(shí)踐家彼得·紐馬克于20世紀(jì)80年代在文本類型的基礎(chǔ)上提出來(lái)的,旨在解決翻譯界長(zhǎng)期存在的直譯和意譯之爭(zhēng)。語(yǔ)義翻譯側(cè)重源語(yǔ)作者和意義,適用于表達(dá)型文本,而交際翻譯側(cè)重讀者和效果,適用于交際翻譯。本報(bào)告作者認(rèn)為學(xué)術(shù)專著的翻譯具有一定的復(fù)雜性,雖本身屬于表達(dá)型文本,但在翻譯的過(guò)程中既要保障內(nèi)容的真實(shí)性,又要表明源語(yǔ)作者的態(tài)度情感及其價(jià)值取向,并期翼讀者在這一領(lǐng)域做出回應(yīng)。因而,學(xué)術(shù)著作的翻譯既要傳遞意義,也要傳遞效果,既要重視源語(yǔ)作者,也要重視譯語(yǔ)讀者。因此,語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯的有機(jī)結(jié)合能為學(xué)術(shù)專著的翻譯提...
