單機(jī)游戲《開拓者:擁王者》英譯漢實(shí)踐報(bào)告

  隨著時(shí)代的變化,游戲行業(yè)迅猛發(fā)展,游戲市場(chǎng)所創(chuàng)造的營(yíng)收每年都增加,可是漢化版本的游戲在游戲市場(chǎng)份額中所占的比列很小,這表明中國(guó)游戲本地化的發(fā)展空間還是很大。當(dāng)前基于游戲翻譯的研究還不是很多,這與它本身市場(chǎng)的快速發(fā)展并不相符。該報(bào)告主要基于跑團(tuán)游戲《開拓者:擁王者》的漢譯實(shí)踐,分為四章。第一章,作者對(duì)游戲項(xiàng)目的背景、游戲本地化概述、研究意義和游戲文本特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行介紹;第二章,作者介紹翻譯的三個(gè)過(guò)程:譯前、譯中、譯后,并著重表述在譯中遇到的困難和解決方案;第三章,作者主要對(duì)翻譯過(guò)程中遇到的困難和解決方案結(jié)合實(shí)際案例進(jìn)行分析;第四章,作者總結(jié)主要的收獲以及在這次翻譯中的不足。這份報(bào)告以柏納爾·梅里諾的電子游戲本地化理論為指導(dǎo)。在該理論的指導(dǎo)下,作者重點(diǎn)在翻譯游戲技能名稱、敘述型文本,以及在處理術(shù)語(yǔ)和術(shù)語(yǔ)庫(kù)時(shí),采用了特定的翻譯策略和方法,并結(jié)合實(shí)例進(jìn)行分析。在翻譯技能名稱時(shí),作者為一些技能名稱增添了技能效果,以突出技能的特點(diǎn);為符合技能名稱精簡(jiǎn)的要求,一些技能翻譯成漢語(yǔ)的四字格結(jié)構(gòu),使之更符合漢語(yǔ)表達(dá)習(xí)慣;對(duì)于一些從屬名詞短語(yǔ),則用漢語(yǔ)“之”來(lái)連接。在翻譯描述性文本時(shí),作者在第一稿后會(huì)把語(yǔ)境碎片重...
