不同時間連詞對中國英語學習者語用加工的影響

在英語學習過程中,中國學習者通常會將中英文相同的概念對等處理。由于英語的時間連詞在語義層面與漢語極為相似,所以不少中國英語學習者按照漢語的思維對時間連詞句進行句子理解和語用加工。然而由于中國英語學習者和英語母語者對于時間連詞的認知模式和加工機制存在差異,以及時間連詞句中事件發(fā)生的不確定性,都會讓讀者在重建情景模型時變得困難。本研究旨在探究不同時間連詞對中國英語學習者的語用加工的影響,揭示英語學習中母語遷移作用的規(guī)律,從而為更加合理有效地應(yīng)對母語遷移、提高我國英語教學和學習效率提供參考證據(jù)。本文以概念遷移理論、印象假說和認知負荷理論為理論框架,選取60名西北師范大學英語專業(yè)本科生和研究生作為研究被試參加本實驗,依據(jù)LexTALE線上測試結(jié)果分為高水平組和低水平組。以時間連詞中的最具代表性的before和after為例,采用依托E-prime2.0軟件編制的自定步速閱讀(self-paced reading)這一在線測量程序。將收集到的原始數(shù)據(jù)導(dǎo)入SPSS 22,建立混合效應(yīng)模型。試圖探究對中國英語學習者來說,不同時間連詞如何影響語用加工。試圖回答以下三個問題:(1)不同時間連詞如何影響句...
