【摘要】：21世紀(jì)是海洋的世紀(jì)。在已經(jīng)過(guò)去的20世紀(jì),人類文明經(jīng)歷了前所未有的巨大飛躍,與之相伴的除了發(fā)展和進(jìn)步,還有自然資源的枯竭和生態(tài)環(huán)境的破壞,海洋這一孕育地球生命的搖籃也未能得以幸免。保護(hù)海洋已刻不容緩,而要做到這一點(diǎn),首先要加深人類對(duì)這片充滿生機(jī)的藍(lán)色沃土的了解。本翻譯報(bào)告研究對(duì)象為OCEAN-The Definitive Visual Guide,是一本以海洋科普為主要目的的圖鑒文獻(xiàn),體裁為科技英語(yǔ)。譯者選取了本書(shū)的第二章部分作為本項(xiàng)目的翻譯對(duì)象,記錄并分析了整個(gè)翻譯的過(guò)程,將翻譯本書(shū)的難點(diǎn)、要點(diǎn),包括詞匯、句子的翻譯以及文體特征的表現(xiàn)等,以本翻譯報(bào)告的形式呈現(xiàn)出來(lái)。除引言外,本翻譯報(bào)告主要分為四個(gè)部分,第一部分為翻譯項(xiàng)目介紹,介紹了譯者的選材理由、項(xiàng)目立意、原文本主要內(nèi)容和特點(diǎn)等；第二部分為譯者在項(xiàng)目前的各項(xiàng)準(zhǔn)備工作,包括工具書(shū)的選擇及時(shí)間安排,并對(duì)翻譯過(guò)程中所用理論的簡(jiǎn)要總結(jié)和介紹；第三部分是理論指導(dǎo)下翻譯過(guò)程中的難點(diǎn)分析和應(yīng)用實(shí)例,主要是結(jié)合奈達(dá)的“功能對(duì)等”理論進(jìn)行分析；第四部分為譯者在翻譯項(xiàng)目完成后的總結(jié),包括譯者自身對(duì)翻譯的認(rèn)識(shí)和方法、態(tài)度等方面的轉(zhuǎn)變。
[Abstract]:The 21st century is the century of the sea. In the past 20th century, human civilization has experienced an unprecedented leap forward, accompanied not only by development and progress, but also by the depletion of natural resources and the destruction of the ecological environment. The ocean, the cradle of life on earth, has not been spared. To protect the oceans, we must first deepen our understanding of this vibrant blue fertile soil. The subject of this translation study is OCEAN-The Definitive Visual Guide, a bibliographic document with the aim of popularizing marine science in the English language of Science and Technology (EST). The translator selects the second part of the book as the object of translation, records and analyzes the whole process of translation, including the difficulties and key points of translating the book, including vocabulary, sentence translation and stylistic features, etc. Presented in the form of this translation report. In addition to the introduction, this translation report is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction of the translation project, which introduces the reasons for the selection of the translator, the meaning of the project, the main content and characteristics of the original text, etc. The second part is the preparation of the translator before the project, including the choice of reference books and timing, and a brief summary and introduction of the theories used in the process of translation; The third part is the analysis of the difficulties and practical examples in the process of translation under the guidance of theory, mainly combined with Nida's "functional equivalence" theory. The fourth part is a summary of the translator after the completion of the translation project, including the translator's own understanding of translation, methods, attitudes and other changes.
