【摘要】：現(xiàn)今,國(guó)際交流日益增多,各國(guó)間經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易日益激烈,旅游業(yè)的發(fā)展也越來(lái)越重要,這使得旅游指南的翻譯變得更加必不可少。作為特殊的外宣材料,旅游指南旨在提供相關(guān)信息,最終實(shí)現(xiàn)“誘導(dǎo)”讀者成為觀光者這一目的。然而,當(dāng)下高質(zhì)量的旅游指南翻譯仍然呈現(xiàn)匱乏狀態(tài)。因此,本文力求在目的論指導(dǎo)下根據(jù)旅游指南獨(dú)有的語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)探索更好、更合適的翻譯方法,從而提高旅游指南翻譯的質(zhì)量。本文對(duì)翻譯任務(wù)和翻譯過(guò)程進(jìn)行描述。作者認(rèn)為,譯者應(yīng)該在目的論指導(dǎo)下,充分考慮譯文的可接受性和目標(biāo)讀者的接受能力,結(jié)合旅游指南的功能和目的,根據(jù)其語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn),采用靈活多變的翻譯方法,一定程度上突破原文的內(nèi)容和格式。為此,本文首先對(duì)功能翻譯理論進(jìn)行概述,然后從詞匯、句法、修辭三個(gè)方面分析旅游指南的語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn),繼而提出直譯、增譯、改譯和刪除四種旅游指南漢譯英方法。通過(guò)案例分析,作者得出結(jié)論,目的論能夠作為旅游指南漢譯英的指導(dǎo)原則。在旅游指南翻譯過(guò)程中,譯者要時(shí)刻謹(jǐn)記譯文的功能和目的,從目的語(yǔ)讀者的角度出發(fā),運(yùn)用適當(dāng)?shù)姆g方法,實(shí)現(xiàn)預(yù)期目的。
[Abstract]:Nowadays, the international communication is increasing, the economy and trade between countries are becoming more and more intense, and the development of tourism is becoming more and more important, which makes the translation of tourist guides more essential. As a special publicity material, the tourism guide aims to provide relevant information and ultimately achieve the purpose of "inducing" readers to become tourists. However, there is still a lack of translation of high-quality guidebooks. Therefore, under the guidance of Skopos theory, this paper tries to explore better and more appropriate translation methods according to the unique linguistic characteristics of tourist guides, so as to improve the translation quality of tourist guides. This paper describes the task and process of translation. The author holds that under the guidance of Skopos theory, the translator should take full account of the acceptability of the target text and the acceptability of the target readers, combining the functions and purposes of the tourist guide and adopting flexible and varied translation methods according to their linguistic characteristics. Break through the content and format of the original text to a certain extent. Therefore, this paper first summarizes the theory of functional translation, then analyzes the linguistic characteristics of tourist guides from three aspects: vocabulary, syntax and rhetoric, and then proposes four ways of translating tourism guides from Chinese to English, including literal translation, incremental translation, modification and deletion. Through case study, the author concludes that Skopos theory can be used as the guiding principle of Chinese-English translation of tourist guides. In the process of tourist guide translation, the translator should always bear in mind the function and purpose of the target text and use appropriate translation methods to achieve the intended purpose from the perspective of the target language reader.
