【摘要】：本文為一篇翻譯項目報告,原文選自美國高等教育資深工作者杰弗里·J·塞靈格(Jeffrey J.Selingo)2013年所著的《在線教育:高等教育的未來及其對學(xué)生的意義》(College(Un)bound:The Future of Higher Education and What It Means for Students)的第四章。該書是一本討論美國高等教育現(xiàn)狀及未來的著作,其第四章列舉了導(dǎo)致美國高等教育體系崩潰的五大因素。原文本翻譯涉及美國的教育現(xiàn)狀及背景,要求譯者具備較豐富的跨文化背景知識、夯實的英漢語語言功底,以翻譯理論為支撐依據(jù),結(jié)合翻譯文本類型采取適切的翻譯方法與策略�！对诰�教育:高等教育的未來及其對學(xué)生的意義》第四章屬于信息類文本,譯者在翻譯過程中以尤金·奈達(dá)的功能對等理論為指導(dǎo),主要針對專有名詞和長句的翻譯處理進(jìn)行分析,以實例說明了翻譯過程中遇到的困難和相應(yīng)的解決措施,力求實現(xiàn)最佳的交際效果和最接近的、自然的功能對等。報告總結(jié)了譯者在該項目中所獲得的經(jīng)驗和教訓(xùn),以期在信息類文本的翻譯過程中積累更豐富的翻譯實踐經(jīng)驗。
[Abstract]:This is a translation project report. Original by Jeffrey J. Selingoo, senior American higher education worker. Online Education: the Future of higher Education and its implications for students, 2013. (bound:The Future of Higher Education and What it Means for students). Chapter 4th. The book is a book on the current state and future of higher education in the United states. Chapter 4th lists five factors that lead to the collapse of the American higher education system. The original text translation involves the current educational situation and background of the United States and requires the translator to have rich cross-cultural background knowledge. The solid foundation of English and Chinese language is based on translation theory. "online Education: the Future of higher Education and its implications for students." Chapter 4th belongs to informational texts. Guided by Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory, translators analyze the translation of proper nouns and long sentences. Examples are given to illustrate the difficulties encountered in the process of translation and the corresponding solutions to achieve the best communicative effect and closest to each other. Natural functional equivalence. The report summarizes the experience and lessons learned by the translator in this project with a view to accumulating more practical experience in the translation of informative texts.
