【摘要】:近代以降,中日韓三國間文學(xué)關(guān)系愈發(fā)密切,日本明治時期的文學(xué)作品大量傳入中韓兩國,在兩國掀起一股翻譯·翻案熱潮,其中政治小說作為一種較為特殊的小說類型,在翻譯·翻案的過程中對中韓兩國近代化以及對西方先進(jìn)思想的接受產(chǎn)生了廣泛而深遠(yuǎn)的影響。《經(jīng)國美談》作為日本近代政治小說的"三部曲"之一,先后傳入中韓兩國,在兩國受到極大歡迎,其重要性自不待言。本文旨在從跨文化接受的角度切入,在現(xiàn)有研究成果的基礎(chǔ)上,結(jié)合歷史、政治語境,運用比較文學(xué)的接受研究等理論,探討《經(jīng)國美談》在中韓兩國的接受過程!督(jīng)國美談》是日本明治時期著名政治家、小說家矢野龍溪的代表作,借用古希臘歷史,意在宣揚恢復(fù)民權(quán)、振張國威的主題,給人們以政治性啟示,大大激勵了當(dāng)時日本的有志青年。隨后1900年與1904年《經(jīng)國美談》分別被譯介至中韓兩國,頗受兩國讀者歡迎。在中國,《經(jīng)國美談》首先在《清議報》連載,后出現(xiàn)了多個單行本,還產(chǎn)生了不少《經(jīng)國美談》的衍生作品,李伯元根據(jù)中譯本改編成《前本經(jīng)國美談新戲》發(fā)表并演出,鋒郎則發(fā)表了《題經(jīng)國美談前編十一首》,通過詩作表達(dá)對愛國志士的敬佩之情與保家衛(wèi)國的決心。1904年《經(jīng)國美談》首先在韓國《漢城新報》連載,卻只有5回,1908年才出版了由玄公廉翻譯的《經(jīng)國美談》全本,卻不幸在1914年被禁。中韓兩國在接受《經(jīng)國美談》的過程中可謂是"同中有異、異中有同"。中韓譯本與原作不同,更為強(qiáng)調(diào)的都是爭取民族獨立與驅(qū)逐侵略勢力,且在獨立之后的'守業(yè)'方面達(dá)成共識,'創(chuàng)業(yè)'難,守業(yè)更為不易,此為'同'。此處兩者出發(fā)點雖然相同,但具體內(nèi)容也是有較大差別的,中譯本主干內(nèi)容沒有很大變化,甚至為了便于中國讀者理解,在解釋阿善都城的繁華之時增添了類似'揚子江'、'倫敦'等內(nèi)容;玄公廉譯本卻選擇將原作及中譯本中涉及文化、文明、哲學(xué)等相關(guān)內(nèi)容大部刪除,更明顯地集中于"正黨"與"奸黨"、"民主"與"獨裁"這兩組對立方面,主要描述齊武國如何取得獨立、戰(zhàn)勝強(qiáng)敵的過程。雖然玄公廉譯本《經(jīng)國美談》將涉及文明、文化的部分大為省略,卻在翻譯的過程中將表現(xiàn)政治意識的內(nèi)容全部保留下來,更為突出善與惡、正與邪的對立,甚至還增添了原著及中譯本均沒有的內(nèi)容。如此強(qiáng)調(diào)此種對立以及各種政治觀點的凸顯,包括其他各種文明、文化相關(guān)內(nèi)容的刪除都是面臨亡國之危機(jī)的玄公廉為強(qiáng)調(diào)愛國精神與民眾教化而做出的選擇。而中國保留這些部分卻表明不僅是要民族獨立,還蘊含著期待再次成為世界文明大國的愿望,此為'異'!督(jīng)國美談》是傳入中韓兩國的政治小說中十分具有代表性的作品,深入研究《經(jīng)國美談》在中韓兩國的接受過程,并進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)考證分析,具有重要意義當(dāng)時東亞三國近代化進(jìn)程中文學(xué)作品擔(dān)當(dāng)著十分重要的角色,在東亞視域下對這些作品的探討也是十分重要的課題,那些作品雖已成歷史,卻可為我們了解那一時代的東亞三國關(guān)系提供有價值的參考。
