【摘要】:信息通信技術(shù)(ICT)在全球范圍內(nèi)已成為現(xiàn)代生活不可缺少的組成部分。此外,由于信息技術(shù)設(shè)備和平臺(tái)的應(yīng)用,如,智能手機(jī)、社交媒體應(yīng)用等,以及社交媒體網(wǎng)絡(luò)應(yīng)用于社會(huì)各個(gè)領(lǐng)域(包括中學(xué)生)而帶來(lái)系列挑戰(zhàn),安提瓜和巴布達(dá)等發(fā)展中小國(guó)家也不例外。本研究聚焦社會(huì)性媒體對(duì)安提瓜和巴布達(dá)中學(xué)生的影響,擬解決以下幾個(gè)研究問(wèn)題:社會(huì)性媒體網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)的主要用途、使用方式及其對(duì)學(xué)生一般行為的影響。選取樣本由122名中學(xué)三年級(jí)的學(xué)生組成,他們來(lái)自一所位于首都圣約翰郊區(qū)的男女合校的公立學(xué)校。數(shù)據(jù)于2017年2月22日由該校的研究助理以結(jié)構(gòu)式問(wèn)卷的形式收集而來(lái)。問(wèn)卷的問(wèn)題主要針對(duì)Facebook和Whats App。借助SPSS計(jì)算機(jī)軟件,研究者采用這種以描述性統(tǒng)計(jì)為主的統(tǒng)計(jì)技術(shù)對(duì)數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行了處理和分析。結(jié)果表明,中學(xué)生使用社會(huì)性媒體網(wǎng)絡(luò)時(shí),比如,當(dāng)他們與家人朋友聯(lián)系,參與社交活動(dòng),表達(dá)自我,分享信息,以及需要時(shí)作為一種對(duì)學(xué)業(yè)的支持時(shí),既有正面影響也有負(fù)面影響。負(fù)面影響包括表現(xiàn)出成癮行為和缺乏自制力的不良傾向。對(duì)于那些認(rèn)識(shí)到有必要制定政策、方案和指南,從而促進(jìn)和鼓勵(lì)中學(xué)生負(fù)責(zé)任地使用社會(huì)性媒體的教育官員們,本研究結(jié)果應(yīng)該會(huì)對(duì)其有所幫助。
[Abstract]:Information and communication technology (ICTT) has become an indispensable part of modern life globally. In addition, due to the application of information technology equipment and platforms, such as smartphones, social media applications, etc. And the application of social media networks to all areas of society, including middle school students, poses a series of challenges. Antigua and Barbuda and other small developing countries are no exception. This study focuses on the impact of social media on middle school students in Antigua and Barbuda. To solve the following research problems: the main uses of social media network technology, the use of social media technology and its impact on students' general behavior. A sample of 122 third-year students in middle schools was selected. They came from a coeducational public school on the outskirts of the capital, St. John. The data were collected in February 22nd 2017 by their research assistants in the form of a structured questionnaire. The questions were asked in the form of a structured questionnaire. Facebook and Whats. App. with SPSS computer software. The researchers used this descriptive statistical technique to process and analyze the data. The results showed that middle school students used social media networks, for example, when they were in contact with family and friends. Engage in social activities, express yourself, share information, and when needed as a form of academic support. Both positive and negative effects. Negative effects include negative tendencies to demonstrate addictive behaviour and lack of self-control... for those who recognize the need to develop policies, programmes and guidelines. The results of this study should be helpful to promote and encourage the responsible use of social media by middle school students.
