本論文認(rèn)為語(yǔ)言是個(gè)多層構(gòu)造的復(fù)雜系統(tǒng)，語(yǔ)言研究的主要目的之一便在于揭開(kāi)個(gè)各界面的互動(dòng)規(guī)律。在優(yōu)選論（OT）的框架下，本論文通過(guò)建立句法和信息結(jié)構(gòu)的約束條件來(lái)探討句法和信息結(jié)構(gòu)的互動(dòng)界面。本論文的分析主要基于句法成分的排序，不涉及音系、形態(tài)和詞匯的語(yǔ)義實(shí)現(xiàn)方式。本論文采用標(biāo)準(zhǔn)OT句法的假設(shè)，認(rèn)為語(yǔ)言輸出的表層結(jié)構(gòu)受制于普遍語(yǔ)法（UG）的窄式X’理論，CP和IP范疇以外的功能詞組范疇本文將不涉及。與標(biāo)準(zhǔn)OT句法理論不同的是，本文在輸入系統(tǒng)的賦值上，采用詞匯函項(xiàng)語(yǔ)法（LFG）的框架，在輸入系統(tǒng)中納入語(yǔ)法功能和信息結(jié)構(gòu)的賦值。本論文認(rèn)為信息結(jié)構(gòu)屬語(yǔ)言系統(tǒng)的一個(gè)獨(dú)立層面，與句法、語(yǔ)義和語(yǔ)法功能等結(jié)構(gòu)一起共同參與競(jìng)爭(zhēng)，生成最優(yōu)的表層形式。根據(jù)Choi（1996）提出的信息結(jié)構(gòu)系統(tǒng)，本文認(rèn)為依據(jù)不同的句法表現(xiàn)，信息結(jié)構(gòu)應(yīng)包含話(huà)題（topic）、尾部（tail）、對(duì)比焦點(diǎn)（contrastive focus）和信息焦點(diǎn)（presentational focus）。話(huà)題以認(rèn)知的方式定義為知識(shí)庫(kù)中的鏈接和參照點(diǎn)，在句法結(jié)構(gòu)中通常嫁接于最高投射的左側(cè)或右側(cè)。焦點(diǎn)被認(rèn)為是表達(dá)形式中最具信息值且?guī)в兄匾舻木浞ǔ?..
