中非喀麥隆西部Bangangté地區(qū)火山巖的巖石學、地球化學及巖石成因研究

Bangangté地區(qū)玄武質(zhì)熔巖,位于喀麥隆火山巖帶中部的西喀麥隆高地(Bambouto,Bamenda and Oku山)的Bameleke高原內(nèi)。研究區(qū)地理范圍為東經(jīng)10°19’00"-10°49’00",北緯 4°00’00"-5°35’00",平均海拔1400m。其北部為Bambouto山,Bamenda山和Oku 山,西南部為Manengouba 山,西部為Bana和Mbo平原。本文運用代表性樣品的新的主量元素、微量元素和稀土元素地球化學以及地質(zhì)年代學數(shù)據(jù)區(qū)分了 Bangangté地區(qū)的兩個巖漿系列:堿性系列和過渡性系列。堿性系列在露頭上主要包括火山巖和碧玄巖、玄武巖、夏威夷巖及橄欖粗安巖,而亞堿性系列(或過渡性系列)在露頭上分布有限,只由玄武巖組成。這些堿性和過渡性系列的熔巖侵位于新生代(36.67-8.89 Ma),分為明顯的兩期火山活動:第一期發(fā)生于約37 Ma,為玄武巖侵位,代表了過渡性系列;第二期發(fā)生于約15-9 Ma,為碧玄巖、玄武巖、夏威夷巖及橄欖粗安巖侵位,代表了堿性系列。主量元素和微量元素組成表明,這些熔巖從基性巖石演化為分異程度較高的巖石,期間發(fā)生了橄欖石...
