本研究的主要目的是探討溝通對(duì)項(xiàng)目成功的影響,以及溝通對(duì)巴基斯坦建筑業(yè)沖突的調(diào)解作用。巴基斯坦的建筑業(yè)面臨著溝通不暢和沖突問題,因此尋找溝通類型和沖突類型的中介作用對(duì)項(xiàng)目成功的影響是本研究的主要內(nèi)容。實(shí)證數(shù)據(jù)來自拉合爾市的大中型建筑公司。利用結(jié)構(gòu)方程模型（SEM）技術(shù)對(duì)實(shí)驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行了驗(yàn)證,并推導(dǎo)出實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果。本研究的所有假設(shè)都得到了驗(yàn)證。結(jié)果表明,正式溝通對(duì)建設(shè)項(xiàng)目的成功有負(fù)面影響,容易引起項(xiàng)目團(tuán)隊(duì)成員之間沖突,而非正式溝通和溝通意愿對(duì)項(xiàng)目成功有積極影響,因?yàn)槿藗兺嗷チ私?從而讓信任得到發(fā)展,溝通得到加強(qiáng)。任務(wù)、過程和關(guān)系沖突被用作中介變量。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),任務(wù)沖突對(duì)關(guān)系的影響是積極的,因?yàn)轫?xiàng)目團(tuán)隊(duì)成員會(huì)提出不同的方法來完成某項(xiàng)任務(wù),從而獲得項(xiàng)目的成功。相反,過程沖突和關(guān)系沖突會(huì)對(duì)溝通和項(xiàng)目成功之間的關(guān)系產(chǎn)生負(fù)面影響。這兩種沖突都會(huì)引起負(fù)面溝通、導(dǎo)致項(xiàng)目失敗。因此,項(xiàng)目經(jīng)理（PM）有責(zé)任加強(qiáng)項(xiàng)目團(tuán)隊(duì)成員之間的溝通,減少或盡可能簡(jiǎn)化過程和關(guān)系沖突,這些涉及到對(duì)項(xiàng)目成功產(chǎn)生不利影響的因素。
