【摘要】：香港圣公會會督何明華是戰(zhàn)后香港重建史上的關(guān)鍵人物。面對戰(zhàn)后香港難民大量涌入導(dǎo)致的社會亂象和社會危機(jī),何明華有著冷靜的觀察和認(rèn)識,擘畫了重建香港社會的目標(biāo)和途徑。在鄉(xiāng)村建設(shè)、貧窮青少年兒童救助教育、貧民居住環(huán)境改善等方面提出了切實(shí)有效的重建計(jì)劃。二十世紀(jì)五六十年代的轉(zhuǎn)型期中,何明華率領(lǐng)圣公會在社會福利機(jī)構(gòu)創(chuàng)建、居住房舍改觀、貧民救助和中小學(xué)校發(fā)展等領(lǐng)域,鼎力推進(jìn),協(xié)助政府完成了香港重建的重任,彰顯了基督教在香港轉(zhuǎn)型期的特殊影響力。
[Abstract]:The Hong Kong Episcopal Governor, Mr Ho Ming-wah, was a key figure in the history of post-war Hong Kong reconstruction. Faced with the social chaos and social crisis caused by the mass influx of refugees in Hong Kong after the war, Ho Ming-Hua observed and understood calmly, and outlined the goals and ways of rebuilding Hong Kong society. In the rural construction, poverty-stricken youth and children assistance education, poor people living environment improvement and other aspects of practical and effective reconstruction plan. During the transitional period in the 1950s and 1960s, Ho Ming-wah led the Anglican Church to make great efforts to promote the establishment of social welfare institutions, the improvement of residential premises, the assistance of the poor and the development of primary and secondary schools, and to assist the Government in fulfilling the heavy task of Hong Kong's reconstruction. It shows the special influence of Christianity in the transition period of Hong Kong.
