【摘要】：本文是對民國初期金山活佛的研究,包括其所處的時(shí)代背景、生平事跡、思想、影響及地位等方面。金山活佛是民國初期的一位禪師。在中國歷史上,清末民初是一個(gè)非常重要的時(shí)期,因?yàn)檫@個(gè)時(shí)候是中國社會從原有的封建制走向共和制的轉(zhuǎn)折點(diǎn),整個(gè)社會不管是在社會思潮,還是行為觀念,乃至人們的家庭生活等各個(gè)方面,都經(jīng)歷了一個(gè)動蕩不安的時(shí)期。金山活佛,法名妙善,人們尊稱他為“金山活佛”。他是光緒二十八年(1902年)來到金山寺,直到1930年除夕,由南京棲霞山的寂然監(jiān)院帶往香港弘化,離開金山寺。在當(dāng)時(shí)對金山活佛的傳誦中,最為引起人們熱議的就是金山活佛似乎看起來總是瘋瘋癲癲,而且在穿著上也從來不與其他人相同,一年到頭就只是穿一件大褂,奇怪的是他夏天從來不會感到熱,冬天也不會感到冷。此外,金山活佛一生從來都沒有使用過金錢,雖然身無分文,卻也過得自由自由,而且還一直致力于救世度人,這也使得人們對他更加尊敬。在金山活佛的文字著作中,雖從正面論述佛法道理的文字不多,關(guān)于金山活佛的著述也很少,但是仍然可以看出他對禪法的主張:佛法無處不在,解脫之道難以用語言表述,啟示弟子自信、自修、自悟等�；罘鸬脑S多軼事,都以神異而著稱,也正是因?yàn)榛罘鸬纳癞?眾多的信徒都愿意拜活佛為師,因此也可以看出,活佛其實(shí)是利用方便法門以靈異攝化有緣人。對于這樣一位在民國時(shí)期佛教史上有著深遠(yuǎn)影響的禪師,目前學(xué)術(shù)界對他還缺少系統(tǒng)地研究。本文在前人已有研究成果的基礎(chǔ)上,結(jié)合金山活佛的各種文獻(xiàn)資料,對他的生平、佛教活動、地位與貢獻(xiàn)等方面作一次綜合性的考察,以明確其在民國禪宗史乃至佛教史上應(yīng)有的地位。
[Abstract]:This paper is a study of Jinshan living Buddha in the early period of the Republic of China, including its background, life story, thought, influence and status. Jinshan living Buddha was a Zen master in the early period of the Republic of China. In Chinese history, the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic was a very important period, because this time was a turning point for Chinese society to move from the original feudal system to the Republican system. The whole society, whether in the social trend of thought or in the concept of behavior, Even people's family life and other aspects, have experienced a turbulent period. Jinshan living Buddha, the name of the Dharma, people called him "Jinshan living Buddha." He arrived at the Jinshan Temple for twenty-eight years (1902) from Guang Xu until New Year's Eve in 1930, where he was taken to Honghua, Hong Kong, by the Silent Prison of Qixia Mountain, Nanjing, and left the Temple. In the chanting of the living Buddha in Jinshan at that time, the most controversial thing was that the living Buddha in Jinshan always seemed to be crazy and never dressed the same as other people. It was only wearing a coat all the year round. It is strange that he never feels hot in summer, nor cold in winter. In addition, Jinshan living Buddha has never used money, although penniless, but also lived freely, and has been committed to save the world, which also made him more respected. In the writings of the living Buddha in Jinshan, although there are few words on the principle of Buddhism from the positive side, and few writings on the living Buddha in Jinshan, it can still be seen that his views on Zen Buddhism are everywhere, and that the way of liberation is difficult to express in language. Apocalypse disciple self-confidence, self-study, self-realization and so on. Many anecdotes of the living Buddha are famous for their divinity, and it is precisely because of the divinity of the living Buddha that many believers are willing to worship the living Buddha as a teacher. Therefore, we can also see that the living Buddha actually uses the convenient method to become a predestined person. For such a Buddhist monk who had a profound influence in the history of the Republic of China, there is still a lack of systematic research on him in academic circles. On the basis of the previous research results and various documents of Jinshan living Buddha, this paper makes a comprehensive investigation on his life, Buddhist activities, status and contribution. In order to clarify its position in the history of the Republic of China Zen Buddhism and even the history of Buddhism.
