【摘要】：佛教的宇宙觀和生命觀深刻地影響了中古時代的社會生活。作為佛教中心,隋唐時期的長安提供了一個在思想語境中探討中古信仰與社會生活的極佳樣本。長安的佛教信徒相信在現(xiàn)實(shí)的長安空間之外,還存在一個六道輪回的世界。畜生道作為六道之一和人類世界并行而交措。畜禽是身負(fù)債孽的人,與人類并無本質(zhì)區(qū)別。將帶有靈驗(yàn)感通色彩的動物施給寺院做長生畜或長生禽,是當(dāng)時一種普遍的信仰活動。這些長生畜禽作為寺院傳教活生生的證據(jù),在宗教信仰和城市生活中扮演著重要的角色。其角色和功能的變遷也反映了唐宋時代佛教世俗化的趨勢。
[Abstract]:The view of the universe and life of Buddhism profoundly affected the social life of the middle ancient times. As the center of Buddhism, Chang'an in the Sui and Tang dynasties provided an excellent sample to explore the belief and social life in the context of thought. The Buddhist believers in Chang'an believe that there is a six-way reincarnation world beyond the actual Chang'an space. As one of the six paths, the animal life path intersects with the human world. Livestock and poultry are people in debt, and there is no essential difference between them. It was a popular religious activity at that time to give animals with sense of efficacy to monasteries as long animals or fowls. As living evidence of monastery preaching, these animals play an important role in religious belief and city life. The change of role and function also reflects the trend of secularization of Buddhism in Tang and Song dynasties.
