[Abstract]:A book by Dr. Yang Xiaochun on the Studies of Islamic Literature in Chinese in Yuan and Ming dynasties, published by Zhonghua Book Company in October, 2012. The book is one of the series of studies on nationalities and frontier areas of Nanjing University. It makes a lot of careful and thorough textual research and analysis on the inscriptions of the mosques in the Yuan and Ming dynasties and the ancient books of Islam in the late Ming Dynasty. On the basis of literature study, this paper examines the relationship between Hui people and Han culture in the Yuan and Ming dynasties, so as to properly estimate the significance of this relationship to the formation of Hui nationality in China.
