【摘要】：正公元409年(東晉義熙五年),法顯從恒河口的多摩梨帝登船,經(jīng)14日抵楞伽島,登岸即獅子國。此國時值大名王(Mahanama,406-428在位)統(tǒng)治。《佛國記》對于這個國家的地理方位、氣候植被及歷史發(fā)展都有簡要介紹~([1]):"其國本在洲上,東西五十由延,南北三十由延"(地理)、"無冬夏之異,草木常茂"(氣候植被),"其國本無人民,止有鬼神及龍居之。諸國商人共市易,市易時鬼神不自現(xiàn)身,但出寶物,題其價直,商人則依價置直取物。因商人來、往、住故,諸國人聞其土樂,
