【摘要】：英國在近代早期的殖民治理最顯著的特點,是向其美洲殖民地輸出包括議會制度的英國的政治與法律制度。對于移民海外建立新拓殖民地的英國人來說,能繼續(xù)享受、保有英國法律和自由制度至關(guān)重要,這意味著他們保持著英格蘭人身份以及繼續(xù)這份自我認(rèn)同和他人認(rèn)同。美洲各地的英國拓殖者竭盡全力將這些據(jù)點置于英國法的根基之上。從新英格蘭到巴巴多斯,英屬美洲殖民地確立了議會治理機(jī)制。
[Abstract]:The most prominent feature of British colonial governance in the early modern times was the export of British political and legal systems including parliamentary systems to its American colonies. For Britons who emigrated overseas to establish a new colony, it is vital that they continue to enjoy, retain British law and a liberal system, meaning that they maintain their English identity and continue their self-identity and identity with others. British colonists throughout the Americas did their best to put these strongholds above the foundations of English law. From New England to Barbados, British American colonies established parliamentary governance.
