【摘要】：杜威從他的經(jīng)驗(yàn)主義、實(shí)用主義或工具主義的立場出發(fā)，對現(xiàn)代科學(xué)給出了不少自己的獨(dú)特見解。在杜威的實(shí)用主義哲學(xué)中，現(xiàn)代科學(xué)研究是在充滿大量儀器設(shè)備的實(shí)驗(yàn)室中進(jìn)行的，而不是在堆滿書籍的書齋中進(jìn)行的；現(xiàn)代科學(xué)是人應(yīng)付生存、生活問題的工具，是解決疑難問題的技術(shù)，是進(jìn)行實(shí)驗(yàn)的真理，而不是對世界的本質(zhì)的反映的客觀的靜態(tài)的理論，因此，科學(xué)就是人生的一部分，而不再是作為傳統(tǒng)哲學(xué)的一個部分或分支而存在。現(xiàn)代科學(xué)的意義或價值就是引導(dǎo)人們獲得成功。只有在解決問題的探索性實(shí)驗(yàn)中，科學(xué)的概念或理論對人才是有意義的或可以理解的；只有在解決問題的探索性實(shí)驗(yàn)中，科學(xué)的概念或理論才被證明是真的。杜威的科學(xué)觀，如果從形而上學(xué)的角度看，是有一定積極意義的，因?yàn)樗鼜?qiáng)調(diào)了科學(xué)理論的非實(shí)體性，科學(xué)理論的理解性，整個科學(xué)的屬人性；但如果從認(rèn)識論的角度說，它的困難或局限又是十分明顯的，，因?yàn)樗痉裾J(rèn)了科學(xué)理論的反映性、客觀性，科學(xué)真理的普遍性。因此，我們對杜威的實(shí)用主義科學(xué)觀應(yīng)該批判的繼承，發(fā)揚(yáng)其對現(xiàn)代科學(xué)有積極意義的一面，同時正視其局限性。
[Abstract]:Dewey, from his standpoint of empiricism, pragmatism or instrumentalism, gave many unique views on modern science. Modern scientific research is carried out in a laboratory full of instruments and equipment, not in a study filled with books; modern science is a tool for man to cope with problems of existence and life, a technique for solving difficult problems, Is the truth of the experiment, not the objective static theory that reflects the nature of the world, and therefore science is a part of life, Not as a part or branch of traditional philosophy. The meaning or value of modern science is to guide people to success. Only in exploratory experiments to solve problems, Scientific concepts or theories are meaningful or understandable to human beings; only in exploratory problem-solving experiments are scientific concepts or theories proven to be true. Dewey's view of science, if viewed from a metaphysical point of view, Because it emphasizes the non-materiality of scientific theory, the understanding of scientific theory, the humanity of science as a whole, but from the perspective of epistemology, its difficulties or limitations are very obvious. Because it basically denies the reflection, objectivity and universality of scientific truth, we should critically inherit Dewey's pragmatism view of science and carry forward its positive significance to modern science. At the same time face up to its limitations.
