[Abstract]:Sometimes after eight years of arduous struggle and hard work, eight years of sobbing sorrow and bravery, the Chinese people finally won the War of Resistance against Japan. After the news that Emperor Hirohito of Japan announced unconditional surrender on August 15, 1945, the people of Changshu, like the people of the whole country, were immersed in the excitement of raising their eyebrows and exhaling their spirits. In addition to excitement, I always feel a little confused and obsessive. The confusion is: why the armed task force led by the Communist Party of China, which adheres to the struggle against Japan in Changshu, can only "stand by in situ" and cannot enter the city.
