【摘要】：東華義莊設(shè)于香港,除對本地貧寒民眾給予施棺或免費掩埋等優(yōu)惠之外,還負(fù)有將世界各地的華人先輩的棺柩、骨骸運回家鄉(xiāng)的職責(zé)。東華義莊的歷史是香港乃至中國近代慈善史不可或缺的一頁,也從側(cè)面反映了全球化時代華人艱難的創(chuàng)業(yè)歷程。本文對葉漢明教授編著的東華義莊資料集給予高度評價,認(rèn)為全書將文獻(xiàn)選編和實地踏勘相結(jié)合,具有很高的學(xué)術(shù)價值。
[Abstract]:Located in Hong Kong, Donghua Yizhuang has the duty of transporting the coffins and bones of Chinese ancestors from all over the world to their hometowns, in addition to giving coffins or free burials to the poor people in Hong Kong. The history of Donghua Yizhuang is an indispensable page in the history of philanthropy in Hong Kong and even in modern China. It also reflects the difficult entrepreneurial process of Chinese in the era of globalization. This paper gives a high evaluation of the data collection of Donghua Yizhuang edited by Professor Ye Hanming, and thinks that it is of great academic value to combine the selected documents with the field survey.
