【摘要】：陳星聚是我國近代史一位杰出人物,在清末同治年間先后任福建省順昌、建安、閩縣、仙游、古田縣令,興利除弊,政績卓異。同治十一年擢升臺(tái)灣府淡水同知,光緒四年代理臺(tái)北知府,光緒七年成為正式知府。光緒八年臺(tái)北城正式動(dòng)工興建,十年告竣,陳星聚為建城傾注了巨大心血。他在臺(tái)灣期間,為政清廉,關(guān)心民瘼,興文重教,抵御法國侵略,是循吏,也是民族英雄,更是開發(fā)建設(shè)臺(tái)灣的功臣。
[Abstract]:Chen Xingju is an outstanding figure in the modern history of our country. During the period of Tongzhi in the late Qing Dynasty, he successively served as Shunchang, Jian'an, Min County, Xianyou, Gutian County in Fujian Province. Tongzhi promoted Taiwan's Freshwater to 11 years, Guang Xu worked for Taipei for four years, and Guang Xu became the official Zhifu for seven years. Guang Xu officially began construction of Taipei City in eight years, the end of the decade, Chen Xingju to build the city devoted great effort. During his stay in Taiwan, he served as a clean government, concerned about the people's plight, promoted culture and education, and resisted French aggression. He was also a national hero and a meritorious officer in the development and construction of Taiwan.
