【摘要】：正關(guān)曉紅教授《科舉停廢與近代中國(guó)社會(huì)》第三章停罷科舉的善后措施里,對(duì)山東巡撫袁樹勛電邀各省聯(lián)銜奏請(qǐng)停止優(yōu)拔貢一事,做了認(rèn)真的評(píng)述[1]。我認(rèn)為,關(guān)曉紅教授的分析,對(duì)山東巡撫袁樹勛電邀各省聯(lián)銜奏請(qǐng)停止優(yōu)拔貢一事涉及的一些問題未充分廓清,尚有可議之處。本文擬利用相關(guān)檔案文獻(xiàn)資料,對(duì)這一史事略做補(bǔ)正,以期對(duì)晚清內(nèi)外群臣在優(yōu)拔貢考試停留問題上的態(tài)度和反應(yīng)有一個(gè)更加全面的認(rèn)識(shí)。宣統(tǒng)元年(1909)三月,在第二次舉行舉貢考職和
