滬杭甬鐵路與近代浙江社會(huì)(1897-1937)

【摘要】:本文以清末民國(guó)時(shí)期的滬杭甬鐵路為研究對(duì)象,通過(guò)對(duì)相關(guān)文獻(xiàn)的梳理,從社會(huì)民生的角度,對(duì)這一時(shí)期鐵路修建與浙江經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)發(fā)展的互動(dòng)關(guān)系進(jìn)行了探討。滬杭甬鐵路,是在英國(guó)怡和洋行、中國(guó)鐵路總公司、江浙民眾多方博弈與交鋒的過(guò)程中修建的。從1907年開(kāi)始,滬杭甬鐵路各段陸續(xù)建成并通車。此后,滬杭甬鐵路被用于運(yùn)輸貨物和乘客,無(wú)論是貨運(yùn)量和貨運(yùn)收入,還是客運(yùn)量和客運(yùn)收入,基本呈逐年遞增之勢(shì)。滬杭甬鐵路沿線物產(chǎn)豐富,運(yùn)輸貨物主要以工藝品和農(nóng)產(chǎn)品為主。根據(jù)二十世紀(jì)三十年代的統(tǒng)計(jì),同全國(guó)主要鐵路進(jìn)行比較,滬杭甬鐵路僅客車座位數(shù)和客運(yùn)量?jī)身?xiàng)排進(jìn)前五,貨車載重噸數(shù)、貨運(yùn)量、客車輛數(shù)的排名均較為落后。起初,滬杭甬鐵路交由浙江鐵路公司和江蘇鐵路公司分別管理。1930年,京滬、滬杭甬鐵路管理局成立,兩路事務(wù)遂統(tǒng)一辦理。為提高服務(wù)水平,滬杭甬鐵路開(kāi)展了各類職工教育。滬杭甬鐵路的開(kāi)通,便利了浙江物產(chǎn)的運(yùn)輸,促進(jìn)了沿線旅游業(yè)的繁榮,促使民眾接受鐵路這一新生事物并形成科學(xué)的時(shí)間觀念。另外,滬杭甬鐵路對(duì)浙江社會(huì)也造成了消極、負(fù)面的影響,如鐵路交通事故、鐵路犯罪等。全文共分為七部分,第一部分闡述了論文選題的背景與意義,并歸納了有關(guān)中國(guó)近代鐵路史、鐵路與社會(huì)發(fā)展變遷之間的關(guān)系、滬杭甬鐵路的研究成果。第二部分講述了滬杭甬鐵路草約的簽訂始末,展現(xiàn)了滬杭甬鐵路修建過(guò)程中的收回商辦、集股自建、民眾拒絕英款及分段修建的歷史事件。第三部分介紹了滬杭甬鐵路的運(yùn)輸設(shè)施——線路、沿線車站、工廠及車輛概況,并對(duì)滬杭甬鐵路的客貨運(yùn)營(yíng)各項(xiàng)狀況進(jìn)行了統(tǒng)計(jì)。第四部分探討了近代中國(guó)鐵路管理機(jī)構(gòu)的變遷,梳理了滬杭甬鐵路局的組織架構(gòu)和滬杭甬鐵路職工教育的具體開(kāi)展情況。第五部分論述了滬杭甬鐵路對(duì)近代浙江經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展和社會(huì)文化變遷所產(chǎn)生的影響,認(rèn)為滬杭甬鐵路帶動(dòng)了浙江經(jīng)濟(jì)的成長(zhǎng),促進(jìn)了周邊地區(qū)旅游業(yè)的興盛。鐵路的建成,有助于沿線民眾接納新生事物,形成科學(xué)的時(shí)間觀念。第六部分分析了滬杭甬鐵路開(kāi)通后引發(fā)的社會(huì)矛盾,包括鐵路交通事故、鐵路犯罪以及鐵路工人受壓迫而發(fā)起的反抗斗爭(zhēng),并討論了滬杭甬鐵路交通事故發(fā)生的原因和當(dāng)局應(yīng)對(duì)鐵路犯罪的防范管理措施。第七部分回顧了滬杭甬鐵路的歷史沿革,總結(jié)了滬杭甬鐵路對(duì)近代浙江社會(huì)產(chǎn)生的影響,認(rèn)為其對(duì)浙江社會(huì)的影響,總體上是積極的、進(jìn)步的。
[Abstract]:Taking the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway in the period of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China as the research object, this paper discusses the interactive relationship between railway construction and the economic and social development of Zhejiang in this period by combing the relevant documents and from the perspective of social and people's livelihood. The Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway was built in the process of many games and confrontations among the people of China Railway Corporation, China Railway Corporation and Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Since 1907, the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway has been completed and opened to traffic one after another. Since then, the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway has been used to transport goods and passengers, whether it is freight volume and freight revenue, or passenger transport and passenger revenue, the basic trend is increasing year by year. Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway along the rich products, mainly to transport goods handicrafts and agricultural products. According to the statistics of 1930's, compared with the main railway in China, Shanghai Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway ranks backward in the first five items of passenger train seat number and passenger volume, and the number of truck load tonnage, freight volume and passenger vehicle number are relatively backward. At first, the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway was managed by Zhejiang Railway Company and Jiangsu Railway Company respectively. In 1930, the Beijing-Shanghai, Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway Administration Bureau was established, and the two railway affairs were handled in a unified manner. In order to improve the level of service, the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway has carried out all kinds of staff education. The opening of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway facilitates the transportation of Zhejiang products, promotes the prosperity of tourism along the route, and urges the people to accept the railway as a new thing and form a scientific concept of time. In addition, the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway has also caused negative and negative effects on Zhejiang society, such as railway traffic accidents, railway crimes and so on. The paper is divided into seven parts. The first part describes the background and significance of the thesis, and summarizes the history of modern Chinese railway, the relationship between railway and social development, and the research results of Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway. The second part describes the beginning and end of the signing of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway contract, showing the historical events of recovering the commercial office in the course of the construction of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway, collecting shares for self-construction, and the public refusing to build the British funds and sections. The third part introduces the transportation facilities of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway line, stations, factories and vehicles along the line, and makes statistics on the passenger and cargo operation of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway. The fourth part discusses the changes of modern China's railway management institutions, combs the organizational structure of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway Administration and the concrete development of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway staff education. The fifth part discusses the impact of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway on the economic development and social and cultural changes in modern Zhejiang Province, and holds that the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway has promoted the economic growth of Zhejiang and promoted the prosperity of tourism in the surrounding areas. The construction of the railway will help the people along the line to accept the new things and form a scientific concept of time. The sixth part analyzes the social contradictions caused by the opening of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway, including railway traffic accidents, railway crimes, and the rebel struggle initiated by railway workers because of their oppression. The causes of traffic accidents in Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway and the measures to prevent and manage railway crimes are discussed. The seventh part reviews the history of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway, summarizes the influence of the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo railway on the modern Zhejiang society, and holds that its influence on the Zhejiang society is positive and progressive in general.
