【摘要】：在近代中國(guó)社會(huì)轉(zhuǎn)型初期,1853年爆發(fā)的上海小刀會(huì)起義對(duì)上海的城市化、現(xiàn)代化產(chǎn)生了重要影響。作為天地會(huì)支派的上海小刀會(huì),具有傳統(tǒng)會(huì)黨特性,同時(shí)由于特殊的時(shí)代、地域背景,如西方入侵、上海通商、閩粵移民大量進(jìn)入上海和太平天國(guó)運(yùn)動(dòng)等因素,上海小刀會(huì)及其起義發(fā)散著濃厚的現(xiàn)代性因素(講洋文、吃西餐、穿皮鞋現(xiàn)象的背后,是與洋人的特殊關(guān)系)。小刀會(huì)起義對(duì)上海造成了一系列直接或間接的影響,最終使得商業(yè)、海關(guān)與租界獲得飛速發(fā)展,上海也得以在現(xiàn)代化軌道上加速前行。傳統(tǒng)觀點(diǎn)認(rèn)為,隨著商埠開(kāi)辟,外力入侵,清朝沉淪,這是一出國(guó)家悲劇。但從"大歷史"角度來(lái)看,整個(gè)中國(guó)的現(xiàn)代化進(jìn)程也隨之驟然提速,盡管西方人主觀上未必存有善意,且其推動(dòng)的現(xiàn)代化確實(shí)存在許多問(wèn)題,我們要探尋的是客觀意義,即西方工業(yè)化對(duì)中國(guó)現(xiàn)代化進(jìn)程的開(kāi)啟作用是不可替代的。
[Abstract]:In the early stage of social transformation in modern China, the Shanghai Sword Society uprising in 1853 had an important impact on the urbanization and modernization of Shanghai. As the tribe of Heaven and Earth, the Shanghai Little Sword Society has the characteristics of the traditional Party. At the same time, due to the special era and regional background, such as the invasion of the West, Shanghai trade, and the mass influx of immigrants from Fujian and Guangdong into Shanghai and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom movement, and so on, The Shanghai Sword Society and its uprisings are full of modern factors (speaking foreign language, eating western food and wearing leather shoes), which is the special relationship with foreigners. A series of direct or indirect influences on Shanghai resulted in the rapid development of commerce, customs and concessions, and Shanghai was able to accelerate on the track of modernization. The traditional view is that with the opening of commercial ports, the invasion of external forces and the sinking of the Qing Dynasty, this is a national tragedy. But from the point of view of "big history", the modernization process of the whole China has also been speeded up suddenly, although the westerners may not have any subjective goodwill, and there are many problems in the modernization drive, what we want to explore is the objective significance. That is, the western industrialization of China's modernization process of the opening role is irreplaceable.
