【摘要】：蔣介石在設計新生活運動時常常以"外國"作為中國應該仿效的對象。本文分梳蔣介石在外國的經(jīng)歷及其在新生活運動中關于"外國"的言論,指出蔣介石對外國的直接經(jīng)驗有限,而且主要集中在日本,他主要通過間接途徑了解外國,并局限于歐美強國。在新生活運動的理論建構中,蔣介石將"外國"的"現(xiàn)代文明"視為反映中國"傳統(tǒng)道德"的鏡像,從而解決了新生活運動既要求民眾行為西化和現(xiàn)代化,又要求復興民族固有道德的內在張力。而新生活運動中借用了西方殖民話語中"文明"與"野蠻"的對立關系,則將西方列強對殖民地的霸權,內化為國民黨政府對國民居高臨下的態(tài)度。因此,蔣介石在新生活運動中對"外國"的借用和想象,不可避免造成了該運動的內在缺陷,使之無法真正動員民眾。
[Abstract]:In the design of the new life movement, Jiang Jieshi often uses "foreign" as the object of imitation in China. This article combs the experience of Jiang Jieshi in foreign countries and his comments on "foreign" in the new life movement, pointing out that Jiang Jieshi's direct experience in foreign countries is limited and mainly in Japan. In the theoretical construction of the new life movement, in the theoretical construction of the new life movement, Jiang Jieshi regarded the "foreign" "modern civilization" as a mirror reflecting the "traditional morality" of China, thus solving the new life movement requiring both the westernization and modernization of the people's behavior and the internal tension of the rejuvenation of the nation, and the western colonialism borrowed from the new life movement. The opposite relationship between "civilization" and "barbarism" in the language is to internalize the hegemony of the Western powers to the colonies as the attitude of the Kuomintang government to the nationals. Therefore, Jiang Jieshi's borrowing and imagination of "foreign" in the new life movement inevitably resulted in the inherent defects of the movement, so that it could not really mobilize the people.
